100kw atw is getting into stock 2zz territory as well come to think of it. TTE have 1zz turbo kits, maybe have a look at those ;) hehe
  2. Dammit I thought there was beer in here...
  3. I've phoned around a few places n ive been quoted about $280 per tyre for Dunlop 215/45 17'' tyres with the correct load rating.. for the rollas the load rating is 88.. is that expensive or reasonable? i have no idea about this stuff when it comes to tyres.. Cheers C-rolla?? Double check the placard like Brandon said man. Now in regard to your tyre choice, what sort of dunlops are they? For that price I think you could get a set of yokohama's or toyo's which are heaps better (higher performance rated ones too). The load rating on those should be better as well.
  4. I've already voted in this poll, but I want to take it back and change it lol.
  5. I must admit it sounds really good on my mates skyline too. Well there you go NIKICH, some feedback man haha.
  6. Hmmm they actually aren't too bad although it depends of the application and vehicle I think man. I know that my mate bought a supercat catback system for his R32 GTS-t cheap 2nd hand until his Tanabe Catback comes and it's actually pretty good. Made a fair bit of power for him (although the Tanabe will be considerably more powerful). Try googling and have a look see what other people say. Additionally, try ozhonda.com etc and see what some other modders think of them man. EDIT: You could always go for a Meerkat System or a Beaver Muffler man rofl.
  7. Wasn't entirely my idea. It was at a mate's place and he was out of degreaser, I suggested we use metho or turps to get the oil off the drive then hose it off or something. He suggested petrol and a lighter, so I got the camera phone out and let him do his thing (only a couple of feet on front of his S15 too ) What is a beaver tail? Ahhhh I see. Was for sh!ts and giggles then. A beaver tail is the tail of the very creature in my signature (which specifically is the Northern Colorado Beaver), they are excellent for building dams, cleaning spills (beats using enyo), and whacking people.
  8. TRD headers are specifically designed for our cars, but they are better utilized if you're going to do 'some' internal work (which Giorgi could be looking @ doing at a later date) as they are larger in size. Porting and having the stock headers ceramic coated etc is just as good, if not better for our cars in stock form (all the XRS/Celica boys in the states do this). The TRD headers are very good, and Giorgi has already reaped the benefits from them. Much more responsive, and when he goes to anything later to the motor he'll be set when it comes to breathing. Leaving stock = porting stock headers Mild/or heaps of internal work = TRD Headers That's just what I've found after doing some research myself and chatting to the US boys. PS: That was some info for you ar44 lol

If you want power man you'd want a catback system with headers, but that is expensive. If you want something that is going to give you a little more power and response, then look at buddyclub, apexi (which yes, are around $400 odd for a muffler but they last and are made properly), remus and some magnaflow mufflers. If you buy cheap you will get cheap. EG: Buying a $50 cannon from supercheap will, in most cases, make the car even more unresponsive and you will lose power. I know a guy who's running an apexi N1 cannon, it's loud but you can suppress it with a silencer if you wish (he finds that it is fine without the silencer). Additionally, if you want an oval shape muffler that is still unrestrictive (but not loud) and flows nicely look at the Apexi WS2 muffler. ;)
  10. Setting fire to it?!?! You're crazy!!! You use a beaver tail to clean it up man. I like saying beaver..."Beaver...beeeaver...b..eeeee...averrrrrrrr"
  11. Practice. The only issue I had was landing lift shifting 1st to 2nd (crunched sometimes), that's been covered now. You backhand shift from 1st to 2nd so that it's going slightly to the left of the gate (the gate is angled, weird). I'm landing lift in 1st 2nd 3rd 4th etc now and that's only with a clutch adjustment. Just practice quickshifting and you'll get it soon ;) EDIT: Yes yes Phill, less 'RA RA' Ra ra bad lol
  12. Hey thebigcoos, Micky is cool, at least he gave you some info and didn't do the following to you: "RARARARARA!!! USE SEARCH BUTTON JABBER JABBER WAAAHHH!!! " lol
  13. I'm personally not too concerned with lights etc etc. I'm too JDM now to want rice. I'd rather have me a set of lightweight 17's or at the least a front and rear strut.
  14. 21??? dont u mean 28?? Oh is he 28? Well..gee golly :P
  15. "Do do doooo drivin' my car...do do dooooo drivin' my carrrrrrrrrrr" *WWWWWWWWWOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!* "OMG...Superman? Oh wait...yes yes 'hello' Bill." *WWWWOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!* "...and Kym..." Baahaahaha. Hunting old preludes were we guys? rofl
  16. Always been a Toshiba and Fujitsu man. Toshiba were the only ones to truely master the laptop design anyway. My ex fed her Toshi a glass of wine. Blue screen for 1 week when she turned it on. Somehow it fixed itself and it started running again :S sppoooooky Come on Steve, I wanna see you in soouth park haha
  17. Yeah it me some time to get used to the clutch in my sportivo too. Wearing work boots would be a pain. If you think that's bad though, try wearing these while driving: Lol...went to a Nine Inch Nails concert with mates and I decided I would drive. Big mistake haha.
  18. I'm a dirty slut tom...a dirty slut... ROFL
  19. I had a big one for you last night man. I went hard lol. Happy birthday!!! How does it feel being 21?
  20. This is an artistic impression of me from last night:
  21. Life is like a box of chocoloates Tats... Just take what you can get at the time man rofl
  22. I got drunk. I got laid. I used up half the money I made. Waahahaha
  23. 215/40 is the overall better choice when it comes to tyre profiles, but also more $$$. Wouldn't kick your speedo off by much, but they are in general a better fit. That's only if you have the luxury of having a specific preference in tyre selection. Check the brand also. Totally agree with what Brandon said too. Illegal. Also if you have a load rating that is lower than that of the factory recommendation you also void your insurance if you're in an accident (cause it's illegal ra ra ra). ;)
  24. Me after watching too much Anime and Manga: The boys from south park also did a job on Christina Aguilera. Check my avatar lmao ;)
