So ive googled for the last 20 minutes, found a bunch of celica clubs but all seem to be at least a year since they were last updated, or even visited, theres meets on some still posted as this weekend from 2010.. I like cruising and meeting up with other drivers, celicas especially, but have never been a part of a club and am interested in getting out there, anyone got some info / links they could share about some current, functioning, regularly updated clubs around the brisbane area?

This is very helpful! I thought turboing the 5sfe was out of my league and waste of money modifying(i've had alot of non celica fans tell me a tonne of bad info.) but after reading this i think i will skip the 3sgte conversion and try my luck over the next yr with the ct26 set up you have mentioned here. :D Thanks! ah question. There a considerable difference between the 3 5sfte's in reference to how much it cost each of you?

i live in heavy road works area and if its not a dusty interior thats annoying its definately tar spots like what you've got, as these guys stated bug and tar remover does wonders and a good wax usually means i dont have to redo it every month. ;)

i've a chrome semi square race wheel, took it for a rwc to an old farts workshop, guy knocked it back some stupid reason? not round? too small w/e dont care, took to another guy. never mentioned got rwc and pulled over heaps (car is a magnet) no probs whatsoever. conclusion- some people are just ****ers, all cops are revenue gathering ****holes that go off a quota system regardless what they tell the media. your cop sounds like one of many. :D

Im a brisbane local, and ive just been down sydney carmate for my bodykit, they have some cool ***** for decent prices and paint and install for the extra $ too. www.carmate.com.au but ill tell you what the previous guy told me, theyre sometimes great, theyre sometimes hit and miss. overall for me they werent bad to deal with but im doing the bodykit myself and id recommend you get them to do it, save the **** arsing around. also their mailing prices are good.

iun 205/55 16r's too but ive had my springs cut by the previous owner so honestly cant tell you height unless you can work it out off another photo XD If it sits on flat ground my tire is prob a inch from my guard. came with 17"s on it originally and they scrapped like crazy i bought 16"s havent had a single prob. i dont see why leaving it stock height would cause any probs

Im fed up of the clutch in it at the moment, its a what 23 something, so ive downgraded to a 19 something off a corona that i was told is compatible however both bolt holes are on one side instead of one each side, is this do-able, will it be possible to make a bracket that could support this or does anyone have any tips with the stock one. it seems too long, riding out the gears a little and i get a bit of clutch slip in first, driving me bonkers. >:s

trust me theres limited things you can do to the st184 performance wise especially if your stuck with an auto. WAY too much time and money invested in mine for the ****tiest amount of gain, sadto say but not worth the gain or the headaches. As mick said, convert to turbo then ou'll have something to toy with, and having the wrc model *thumbs up*

got the same prob, i got told the rubber bush at the top of my shockies is worn out. i replaced my fronts a few months back pretty easy stuff, do some research first, but the bushes are like 25 bucks from repco. lemme know if it stops your rattle and ill be doing it too haha.

sub fan is on the other side of the radiator kinda weird setup, never knew i had one til a few months ago either only to find out ive been running the car 3 yrs without it cause the previous owner pulled out the wires, douche. haha anyway glad to hear your not giving up on your car yet, they can be a bitch sometimes but you gotta love em.
