  1. Hi guys, I have posted a few threads on here that members have viewed but I am the only thread comment or I started the the thread, in order to reduce clutter and computer space, can anyone tell me how I can delete my threads that no-one has replied to, I mean topics I have posted/started like this one that I can delete to free up space on the site, is it possilble and if so, how? Thanks.

    Love your rims Shadow.
  3. Fixed the problem with my weather strips, notice the difference, now the practical boring ones look good, before and after shots below, I got some 12mm chrome pinstripe and applied it around the weathershield and now they match in with the chrome around the windows on the car. Not good a good shot of the after one but you can see the difference, the 1st shot you can see the chrome stops at the weather shield (Ugly), the 2nd is after I put the chrome pinstripe on wide (not slimline) weathershields so they match in with the rest of the car..
  4. Thanks, I have contacted Bodykits Kingdom, the rear fibreglass apron has the top lip or hook to go into the brackets that go along the bumper but no brackets came with the kit and it's only fixed in the wheel arces and the center underneath, it moves, not much but enough to wear into the bumper which is not good. I'm not knocking the kit but the passenger side exhaust outlet doesn't line up that well either but planned exhaust upgrade will fix that down the track.
  5. eBay guys has this, just the one, 2006 - 2008 before the facelift. http://www.ebay.com....=item19d0c3696c
  6. Yeah I have both, would have prefered to get the Kingdom style ones, ended up with Phillips DRLs screwed under the bumper, but who was it that said there is always something to do, some modificiation, may get the Kingdom ones if I have the extra cash one day.
  7. Front spoiler and side skirt fitted, rear apron next then drive it around looking all beat up to the paint shops for quotes.
  8. They are nice, have you checked out the Bodykits Kingdom ones, I really like them, they are already in the chrome surround of the fog lamps for if you already have fog lamps. Are those ones Adamsy for if you don't have fog lamps, I checked them out on ebay and they don't look like they'd fit if you already had them? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/aurion-Chrome-led-daytime-running-light-09-Up-TRD-/140573157979?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20bad02a5b
  9. Neat little unit ToyotaFreak, would be great with a split screen covering all the areas you wanted to see when parking or even a dirt road that may have some washed out areas as we get in touristy spots where I am from. Have been playing around with a Steel Mate Automotive 8 sensor kit I got from Jaycar, have enough sensors to put 2 in the rear middle so not just relying on the camera, 4 on the spoiler and I think with enough testing and getting the hole angle right it will work for the spoiler for low stuff like gutters and concrete barriers in carparks, as for the 2 spare from the front, I am looking at placing them at each end of the side skirt for wheel/reverse parking kerb detection so I don;t do any more damage to my rims. The rear sensors can be adjusted for tow bars and spare tires on 4WDs but this would work for the rear side skirt sensor for the kerb. Still studying the manual and working out the best setup and placing for each sensor, definately the 2 in the middle of the rear, even with the camera they will still be handy. May just put 2 in the front spoiler and use the outside ones for the front of the sideskirts so I have them on both sides. Still in the R & D stage to see what I will do. Fitting the bodykit tomorrow and over the weekend before it goes off to the paint shop, will test the front spoiler and side skirt sensors on it then.
  10. Yes SirNed, I have the Toyota head unit with reversing camera, the problem with the front camera I tried from Jaycar was mounting it in a decent position, it doesn't really give you a good view out to the sides for nose in angle parking. Just couldn't find a good spot for it to view the whole front spoiler or enough to keep me from hitting anthing low (gutters, driveways, concrete barrier, speed bumps etc). The lip kit I got is actually lower/fatter towards the outside and is thing in the middle underneath.
  11. Camera no go, got an aftermarket sensor kit, says it's for kurb protection, I think the sensors are adjustable (the sensor range) I want to put them in the front spoiler to avoid damaging it, will it work or too close to the ground and will go off all the time but if adjustable and claims to be for kurb protection or protection from hitting the kurb/kerb?? it should work in theory, have bought the kit and will test it on the car and if it does not do the job I'll just return it. Unless anyone can tell me for sure that it wont work or will I just have to try it to find out?
  12. My body kit from Bodykits Kindom arrived today, now just have to fit it, take it off then take it in for quotes on painting, pretty wrapped about it, there is no Aurions in my city with kits on them aside from factorykits on sportivos and TRDs. Have to take in my eyelids and my folding mirror also to be painted, my wallet is smoking already.
  13. Took front camera to auto electrcian today, still have to test the camera on the car with a small tv to see if it will do the job for parking with the front spoiler, they told me 3 hours at $90 per hour just to wire it in, I am mounting it and running the cable to the back of the unit and supplying the switch, they said it can be done, but 3 hours mininum.
  14. ok, in this diagram, I take it that the 6v + & - are output voltage to power the camera, I am testing a camera to put on the front bumber under the number plate to see if It can show all or mostly the important parts of the front spoiler for when parking etc, at the flick of a switch or push of a button I am going to wire the image from this front camera into the reversing camera input so I wont damage the spoiler, the camera I have is 12v so I take it if I am only running the image into the head unit then the voltage difference wont matter. Do the other wires activate the screen for when reversing, for warranty reasons I will have the last wiring bit done by an autoelectrican but if I turn on the front camera and the input wires receive the signal will the screen come on automatically or am I missing something, maybe to to with the reverse switch. or power to the other two wires? Can anyone help me on that .
  15. Had a look at an aftermarket parking sensor kit for my front spoiler which should arrive tomorrow or Tuesday, had a theory that it would avoid breaking it on concrete barriers and such but it would be too low and would pick up the road/ground all the time, someone mentioned a reversing camera mounted on the front, I know it would be possible to mount a camera on the front and use a switch went parking to view distances when parkiing nose 1st and for driveways, gutters etc, my car has a rear camera, what is the connection like into the back of the head unit? I was thinking of a switch that you leave for reversing on all the time, no active just so it comes on in reverse, then use the switch to swap the input to the front camera when parking nose first. Ebay has cameras for $60 buy it now, http://www.ebay.com....=item3362bc7441 by Aytotunez, full colour night view with distance marks, are these cameras and good, they have a genuined one listed for $200 buy it now but would the cheaper one be ok to for the job and is there a thread on how to install the 2 cameras or would I have to talk to someone at Jaycar or somewhere like that about a input swtich? Is the input plug a 4 pin DIN or RCA?
  16. Hi Beck, Well I can't speak for the TRD exhaust, maybe the other guys can as the supercharger may make a difference to the sound or maybe not the exhaust just the intake noise, I am going with the mod mentioned on here for mine, the Aurion doesn't come out in a TRD model anymore. Toyota withdrew the TRD supercharged model a few years back. I am not sure but before my Aurion I had a Camry Sportivo which Toyota claimed had a sports exhaust and it did sound different from standard Camrys, My Touring Aurion is suppose to have a sports exhaust but I have not noticed other Touring models with a better sound. Sorry that wasn't much help. But can anyone tell me if upgrading my exhaust from the 1st resonator back to twin 2.5" pipes with no rear mufflers will affect my warranty or do I have to ask Toyota, car in 2nd year of new car warranty?
  17. Have been through the Manuals I downloaded, combed through the wiring diagrams, can anyone tell me the colour of the wire for the horn coming down the steering column loom?, want to install a switch to go from airhorns to standard...legal reasons, also can anyone tell me the colour of the fog lamp switch wire in the same loom?
  18. So no-one can tell me if my harness has the plugs to add the two middle sensors, may have to pull the bumper off again and have a look.
  19. Sato i only took off the rims and i just spry it on lol i dont even bother to paper up the brakes Well I've got the red caliper paint and my Aurion is the same as yours (colour and model) so off with the wheels and give the calipers a squirt of red, looks great on yours, will look ok on mine till the mag upgrade.
  20. Total came to $859 for lip kit 09 up Aurion, delivery is express so should have it Monday/Tuesday. I recommend Bodykitskingdom, I got my grill off them also and Paul has been great to deal with. I am still having dramas with another grill I bought off a guy in Victoria from eBay, he had a pic of the grill, I questioned if it would fit an Aurion, he assured me it would, when it arrived I opened the Genuine Toyota box, it was a toyota grill alright but not for an Aurion, called toyota and gave them the part no. off the box and they told me it was for a Camry or Ateva and would not fit any Aurion here or OS. I contacted the seller, his excuse?, he just goes on what the dealer tells him. I have returned the grill and he is stalling on the refund which I had to chase him for, claims he has sent a cheque and that I have to return it before he will do a Paypal refund, looks like it's going to go to a dispute, have a gut feeling he will only refund the grill price, not the postage. Checked out his feedback on eBay and he only has 2 negatives and 2 neutral but he responds and tells them off. Responded to 1 buyer who told him to get another courier with - stay home when there is a delivery on its way to you and you wont miss it. Responded to another that said the parts where used and damaged with - rubbish they were new coils still in the original wraping dont come again. I detect his sacasm in his emails to me, would love to name him on here to warn others but worried about legal issues.
  21. Yeah and they are great for removing those white clips without breaking them that sometimes don't come off with the panel and stay in the metal hole.
  22. Hi guys, I'm from the Aurion side of the site but thought of the RAV4 when I watched the movie Repo Men, didn't want to start a new thread on here just to show you so used this one. I took some pics of the car they used in the film to show you the downlights they have underneath which I think look pretty cool and if I ever got a RAV I would get it done, the car in the film was a VW 4WD as you can see in the pics, hope you like them.
  23. Sato i only took off the rims and i just spry it on lol i dont even bother to paper up the brakes Doesn't show, looks like a good job.
  24. I searched and couldn't find anthing close before I started a new thread but I bought from Jaycar a Car Panel Removal Tool set for $24.95, they have been magic at taking door and other interior panels off without damaging or scratching, I apologise if it's old news to you guys. Let me know if it is and I'll delete the thread.
