  1. Was ringo the guy with the longish curly hair who came down Bulli Pass with the Echos and we rollas? Because he definately never raced any of us, we were very sedate and also never got any open room in the traffic (plus there were cops everywhere). Quite a good guy though, knows his Mercs inside out...
  2. done... see Azza for the biggest example ever seen :P
  3. where was that posted??? I never read that, but yeah, it was none of us, we never raced anyone, just a nice leisurely cruise down the leisure coast :P
  4. I'd love to see some pics Brendon... sounds like a great looking vehicle :D :D :D
  5. As you can tell I eventually found a way... without the need for FTP :P cheers for hosting it though... JDM - I think this is CrazyCelicaGTS off newcelica.org
  6. I'd be interested in joining as you pass through!!! :D
  7. both TRD and AEM are one piece pipes, Simota is 2 piece and now it seems Injen is too...
  8. yeah but how hard is it to check the air filter, I did that myself yesterday :P I was pointing out the things that are coming up for the 1st inspection with 40,000 km, though my suspension has been 'observed' at my request at every service so far, still feels wierd and still nothing done...
  9. perhaps this should be stickied in the Workshops and Maintenance 'Inside and Out' section... just a thought, but plenty of info there... nice
  10. How about a new clutch kit Dylan :P ← have you still got one to sell of is it installed on your car now? I have bought myself another present though ;) I'll still wait until I can get up to Western Toyota to see what they can do. I just do not have a lot of spare time at the moment just to drive up to get my clutch pedal looked at. My 40,000 Km service is only a month away and with Bill's story I'm not sure I can get both done at the same time by the guys at Western. <_< Westerntoyotatech - If I book my car in am I able to watch it being serviced to see just what they do too, not that I don't trust them but I'm a technical hands on sort of person and would just like to see the work in action and as it's a 40,000 Km sevice that means gear box oil and inspection, suspension and brake checks and all that sort of good stuff... :D
  11. The file is 28meg bare with me while I find a way to send it so it can be hosted... My ISP won't let me send mail larger then 4meg Don't worry I'll find a way, just be patient, unless someone else has the file on hand!!!
  12. So where does that leave me... I'm sure as hell not driving my car all the way back the Adelaide to get the guys a Cornes Toyota to look at my clutch!!! The Warranty is with Toyota Australia not the Dealer!!!
  13. this all reminds me of the old commercial with the slogan 'corollin' along... Toyota' :P
  14. is your last one meant to be at just under 8000 RPM shao??? looks nice :D and the switch is a good touch, hadn't thought of that but the position is right where I'm looking...
  15. What happens if there are clashes like something happening the same day in Bris, Syd and Melb?????
  16. I've also been thinking of this for a while, but I'd rather an F1 style high RPM barage of colour, and also so it doesn't annoy me during my everyday driving. I'd stage it thus: 5000 RPM - Blue 6000 RPM - Green 7000 RPM - Yellow 7500 RPM - Orange 8000 RPM - Red Most likely position would be the under-side of the dash display The theory being once the Blue goes off you are safe to downshift, right into the powerband... :D
