  1. So we now have 3 of us who want to do this, we just need to find a time when we all have around a grand of funds to throw away... do we get a group buy discount??? :P EDIT: Sorry to whore this topic on this maybe we should start a new thread to discuss the NSW ----> Qld cruise issue...
  2. scum - fair enough then, understand your point -
  3. Using Rolla02's calculator that he suggested... Tire Size Comparison Specification....Sidewall...Radius...Diameter..Circumference..Revs/km..Difference 195/55-16........107mm...310mm....621mm........1951mm.........513.........0.0% 205/50-16........102mm...306mm....611mm........1921mm.........521........-1.5% 205/55-16........113mm...316mm....632mm........1985mm.........504.........1.8% 205/40-17........ 82mm....298mm....596mm........1872mm.........534........-4.0% 205/45-17........ 92mm....308mm....616mm........1936mm.........516........-0.7% 215/40-17........ 86mm....302mm....604mm........1897mm.........527........-2.8% 215/45-17........ 97mm....313mm....625mm........1964mm.........509.........0.7%
  4. salesmen Shao - so you're anti Kim Beasley, but anti GST (something Kim Beasly strongly opposed) do I take it you are just anti government or are you some radical lefty hippy :P
  5. Agreed though I will add that my car look a bit better the Daves after our day at Wakefield last month, the tyre rubber really shows up on the silver :P - There had to be something to make them look dirty... :P
  6. I've got size 9s and do it pretty easy, but I've got flexible ankles... :P but my knees are farked, they get real sore after a couple of ours of spirited driving in the mountains.
  7. Just found out my older brother just got a job at a Wildlife park on the Gold Coast so will endevour to get up and visit him some time after he moves there next month, but means I have less reason to drive up to Darwin (to visit him) on the open speed limitted highways. I'll also try and work an exhaust fitting in, but at a later date when the funds are there (but saving like hard still!!) So yeah I'd be up for a cruize up there at a later date... :D
  8. ***AGAIN*** - uniform... -
  9. I do every time I break, but I do it for the sound as well :D It's a must for track work and downhill mountain passes... so get practicing
  10. I had this done to my car and can tell you it still melted the rear bar just not as much as without it. Bit visually it looks much nicer then the bent down tip, I've wad many comments on it and people wanting to know if I've got an aftermarket exhaust (not yet!!! ;) ) I had some photos posted up a while ago if you want to do a search, I'll also endevour to take some new shots of my car soon to post in my garage but haven't had much time during daylight hours lately...
  11. WOO HOO!!!!!! now what to edit????
  12. I could be tempted to come see what these guys do to their cars, as many of you know I'm a Pug and Citroen fan myself and very nearly bought a Xsara VTS instead of the Stivo but still glad of the choice I made... B) ;) :D But no racing for me, you know my policy, save it for the track!!! <_< ;) ;)
  13. The best cover I ever heard was Pearl Jam doing 'Rockin' in the Free World'!!! Another one up there was Bodyjar doing 'Hazy Shade of Winter' And or course who could forget Reel Big Fish's version of 'Take On Me'
  14. Thanks Azza But I was more concearned with your chamois recommendation... I also use the enjo cleaning mit and also recommend the bathroom mit for you bathroom and kitchen, but anyway, back to the point!!! I found with just the mit I was getting streaking and spotting from water left on the cars duco but using the chamois to mop up all the water worked a treat (I have got it down to 1.5 buckets of water, could do it with 1 but like to use a fresh 1/2 bucket to rinse of excess grime once it is lifted)!!! PS always clean the car in the shade too so the water does not dry too quickly. I also take my car for a short drive to a nice sunny patch after to check for spots I missed in the right light.
  15. I also recommend Enjo, but I won't use the Enjo chamois... ← Any reason Azza, and what would you recommend? :)
