  1. We folk of TEAM CASCADE BLUE are the silent assasins... we sit nice and quiet and when you least expect it... BANG... :D
  2. gee... that's harsh... ← I know, but fair.... I just kept hearing 'I've got a big black shiny car' going through my head and had to take it out on someone :P
  3. I might also add you may want to thank the Happy Valley Football Club for the use of their Vikings logo (my local suburban club in Adelaide) :P
  4. I have 2 words for all you ppl who talk up your black cars - Shannon Noll -
  5. Whiteline Swaybar bits for Corolla ZZE122 12/01-04 Front Swaybars - BTF72 R 24 B (non-adjustable) - BTF72Z A R 24 C (adjustable) Rear Swaybar - BTR77 R 22 C (non-adjustable) Can't remember pricing, I had it all written down somewhere but cannot find it now, but get quotes from a few places eg Repco, Autobarn, etc. Direct from Whiteline is not always cheapest, plus you can bargain a bit with price-matching policies ;)
  6. Whiteline front is 24mm
  7. Hi Steve It apears that the option to edit your posts has been removed. I was a frequent user of this feature to correct spelling and add small things I often forgot to mention and think of as I'm waiting the the refreshed page to load. Is this a deliberate action, or an error that can be corrected? Cheers Dylan
  8. I think you need a amalgamation of the 2 designs Cam... Needs the Viking bit and needs the SA: The Drift State, everyone knows there is no better place then AIR (I love the bull-ring section) and Malalla for some hard core drifting action!!! Maybe if you replace the Piping Shrike with the Viking head in the coat of arms, but change the background colours to black, white and teal, *** knows you don't want red, blue and gold :P :D ... I'm not in SA anymore I can say these things :P
  9. ohhhh cr@p I forgot the MR2, yeah definately go the MR2!!!!! The 1st gen has the 4AGZE (if you are lucky enough to find a supercharged version), the 2nd generation looks nicer though :P should be able to find for around $15000 if you are lucky.
  10. I dunno about the herbs, it all depends on the hydroponic set up you have in the back really :P ;) . I haven't driven one myself by a have heard they do go OK, not fantastic but the suspension is a little soft, as with all Toyota's <_< For a sports car they are a little soft on and marketed more as a hairdressers car, but would make a brilliant sleeper if you are planning to mod it :)
  11. The paseo is not an import in the GREY sense... They are Australian plated. They have all the same running gear as the Starlet so parts are not as difficult to source then other cars out there.
  12. pass Azza - my bad - I live behind a spell checker :P
  13. updated and will add some nice pics soon too...
  14. Was just thinking about this a bit more... an old Lexus maybe like a soarer??
  15. As far as I know it can, the rules are the same as importing from anywhere else in the world though. Must be unique (ie not already available in the AUS market) and you must own for 12 months prior to import. As well as the usual ADR stuff. But best to check the import laws properly.
  16. The no grey import makes it hard as most newer RWD cars that aren't badged Holden or Ford are imports from Japan. The older Skylines are very clean and relyable (I had an R28 style '83) but the 3.0L R31 model is OK and you'll have $$ spare, or you could get lucky and find an Aussie plated R32 GTSt but they are classed as collectors items so will eat up most of your cash. Gen4 RX7's are great cars, the issues with rotaries only come when people start tinkering with them, that are actually quite reliable stock but do guzzle the juice!!! Something to think about these days... S14 200SX would be perfect but hard to find one that is stock and not trashed, but they are out there, my old neighbour in Adelaide had one and it is sweet... you just have to be paitient when looking and inspect the car well... S13s (180sx and silvia) are all imports... There are a few well modified old Celicas and Supras that would be great for you to play with too, visit toymods and chat to a few of those boys for some ideas (or talk to Dave ). The old Supras (pre '93) are not actually that heavy as they did not have as much in the way of electronics and mod cons... But my personal choice would be to stick with the Stivo as your daily driver and grab yourself an old Datsan!!! It may sound stupid but an old 180B/stanza/sunny SSS is a brilliant light RWD car and easy to work with and modify. Or a Datto 1600, Escort or something of that ilk will give you much more enjoyment as they were designed as Rally winners and buily to drive sideways in... Check out the Trading Post and see what is available and be open minded about it... It all depends on your intended purpose...
