not for a ZZE model Corolla... the rear suspension setup does not really allow for it. Whiteline do adjustable fronts, but not rears. there are adjustable rear swaybars for previous models with Independant Rear Suspension.
if you just replace the shocks with ones that are valved to match the springs you should be riding at the same height you currently are. It's the springs that govern the height of the car, not the shocks.
Solomon Islands, Fiji, East Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon... looks like Papua New Guinea (or Indonesian New Guinea Territory) may be added to the list soon.
well i have springs given from Danz. I've used it for almost a year. It bounces alot. very uncomfortable at some point (but thx to Danz i can lowered my car). Now i am thinkin of buying coilover since springs and shocks doesnt give the same looks as my current springs. What do you guys think?i need advice. thanks
I take it you are using the springs with the stock shocks...
I mentioned to match the lowerring spring with Konis for a reason...
The car bounces because your stock shocks are stuffed and need to be replaced... replace them with Konis or KYBs and it will be sweet for the street. Coilovers are useful if you want tunability for the track but not really worth it for the street IMHO.
I'll be back in Adelaide over Christmas/New Years if you would like to see what car handles like... if you can wait that long.
overriding the knock retardation on the stock Toyota ECU is the issue with these chips... as you cannot... as such the ECU eventually retunes the car around whatever your tuner has done. So unless you are prepared to pay for the chip to be retuned to the ECU every 3 months it's not worth it. do not compare with a Porsche ECU as they are very different things :)
better to get Spings with shocks for the road if it's not going to see the track. The comfort level is far greater. Any lowered spring match with Koni Yellow adjustable shocks would do the job great :)
as far as I'm aware, neither of them are hollow. standard rear swaybar is 18mm TRD is 23mm Whiteline is 22mm I'm not sure on the specs of the fronts off the top of my head though another option is C-One also but they are more expensive than TRD
I find they grip well in the dry, they even squeek a but when I move my foot showing there is some friction there. Add a bit of water to the sole of your foot on a rainy day and it's a completly different story though. :o :o :o
damn Mario, hope everything is fine with the stereo and nothing else missing... this is the one thing, other then weight, that scares me about changing the H/U and adding sound equipment... :(
