  1. And the front sway and the rear control arm bar and the rear strut and not forgetting the room bar. B) the front sway and rear control arm IS important but i think if you are not going to be too crazy the rear sway does just fine thou i must say those two extra bar does make a whole lot of difference.. now just waiting for the rear strut... no funds as yet.. guni u can tell me the benefits :P
  2. I initially wanted to get koni yellow.. i mean I initially wanted something totally different to this but at the end of the day $$$ plays a big part of it, I do agree you wouldnt adjust ur height once you put them in but flexibility is always good but it comes at a cost. I mean, you would know this as well as I do as you are running KYBs too that these shocks are prob bang for buck with excellent built quality.. totoally love it Glad that you gave low/slow a shot and now all round low, at least you know the difference and all.. always good to try it out for yourself and make the decision... gna post up some pic of the new ride height? wanna see the diff it made.. sure i dont have any handy... but will get some this weekend for you. no worries :) one thing i have noticed though, is your cars seem to sit lower then mine... i think its cause i am only running on stocky shocks lol :P still, i am very happy with the way they handle B) Evo i dont know if its me or its with everyone but i found my car was bumped up approx one finger higher when i put in the kybs.. Evo7, save up for some shocks, u'd love it even more.. and as guni would tell you.. make sure u get the front strut and rear sway sorted ;)
  3. hahahah now tht he got his cough *varex* cough :P he is a HOON! xD
  4. Get him to pay for it or the car wash is free. that would be at least the next 50 car wash :P

  7. Hi Kenneth. yup thats right, Lows al round now. I think its better personally.. and its sitting only about 10mm higher at the reat... but it seems to ride the bumps better. Not as "sloppy" at the back as it was on the S/Lows. the spring on the Lows is about 1mm thicker than the S/Lows.... giving it a better feel. BKS, Ah, I always wanted to move out of the low all round as the rear sits pretty high for me and i thought it'd handle better and all, I guess now that you have tried both and happy with low all round :) i will stick to it.. Btw, i think you can expect the spring to sag so the rear mite sit that little lower... :) yeah its weird.. i know SB and a few others rave that the S/Low and Low combo is the best... but for me, i much prefer the stiffer rear spring at the back. Sure the Super Low at the back makes the car look more balanced... but dynamically, i am not so sure. it feels a lot more planted and the front seems to hold better with the sprung weight just a smidge further forward. just my experience. got the rear sway bars and all? for me the sway bar made a huge difference but i guess you either go for looks or for performance.. unless you get into the coils..

  9. another reason why u'd go kyb over koni :P
  10. haha, nah thats just Andy droppin 22 bags of cement in the car :P jks LOL i am running lows all round, and i have found its much better then lows/superlows... only cause i seem to have more 'control'. Hope this doesn't turn into another one of those debates :o Evo Evo... mate i know what you mean.. i really prefer this setup with all round Lows. i see how you had your s/low springs for sale, would it be fair to assume that you have lows all round now? so it handles better then the low / superlow combo?
  11. looks good jasee.. you going to get one?
  12. interesting.. i was just going to get some new tyres for the front and actually move the front ones down the rear.. looks like i mite as well get all 4 new tyres now :P
  13. would you like to put down some details.. PERTH CRUISE will go no where with no details... which weekend are you looking @? dont make it in june as half the people wont turn up due to uni exams..maybe late june would help..
  14. looks sweet.. love the colour combination :) but lets wait and see what new ones u got in mind.. could look even sexier :P
  15. i heard the toyos t1r are better interms of threadwear compared to the re001? correct me if im wrong.. i have a feeling that i am :P i am looking into either the t1r or re001 myslef for my next set of tyres...
  16. the toyo t1r would give the re001 a good fight too i'd say for that price range..
  17. Also replaced the rotors and pads at the same time as well as fluid. And it makes a lot of difference for someone who normally brakes late. Really really effective. This is money well spent for 1300 :P :P :P :P :P :P :P Yuppie ..... Rays Lock Nuts     NICE :) looking good there.. any more pics of the new nuts :P....
  18. Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load! cant hear MUCH of the intake (u hear the ocassion hissing) but i like the exhaust note :)
  19. it does look abit like that.. but it looks good.. one of a kind..
  20. were those ads promoting some kind of product :P if they were.. i would question the credibility of the 80%.. i used to leave the car running for a minute or two but im usually LATE so i dont have the luxury of waiting so i just try to drive slowly in the 1st few km till it gets to normal temp.
  21. BC on eBay That price includes part & installation from OTR excluding alignment which you can easily get for 60 bucks or thereabouts. I remember going there when I just had the Stivo and they recommended me that price. i guess you can look at it that way but just from my own pov... im sure u've been in a car with d2s and another ones with the cuscos zero2, and at the end of the day i think is you get what u pay for... you can argue bc could have rly good feedback and all (i never used one or seen one so i cant say they dont) but if i were thinking of getting a set of coils and the dms is around the same price and all.. i think i'd pay tht lil bit extra (considering installaiton wont be a pain in the ***** - if it is then i might steer clear) thou, im not looking @ coils so yeh.. if the bc does what it says for a lower price then by all means!! good luck and a group buy might make it even MORE attractive :P price wise..
  22. looking good, my uncle has one of them in msia.. nice little car to drive...
  23. hrm dont know if this will be of any relevance but i think someone on the forum has some DMS coils for sale (apprantely they are the best coils u can get for the rolla - dont quote me) all for 1500 delivered? http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...c=19206&hl= a lil modification needed to fit but im sure these would be of better quality then BC or D2 or any other taiwanese brands..
