  1. Yep its generally the red automatic transmission fluid Cept some dealerships have wynn's/other brands power steering treatment/flush stuff which they might use instead which is generally clear
  2. Get a second opinion Might cost a bit but better than paying 1200 and finding out that the issue is still there
  3. Should be alright, but id recommend finding a way to get all the old fluid out and replacing it with new fluid Go to a toyota dealer, ask for a power steering flush and theres a 50/50 chance that your car will come back with a clear power steering fluid
  4. Have a look in the owners manual
  5. With the car parked, engine switched off (try with ignition on too) and your foot on the brake, can you move the gear lever from Park to drive/neutral without having to use the "shift lock" button? Also have you checked the fuse box under the glove box?
  6. Try pressing "tune ^ " and "1"(depending on the radio it may have a tune ^ button or a track ^ button) I cant remember if thats for help or sec but it may work If not im pretty sure i still have a list at work of the keys you can try
  7. If you still need help, a few pictures of the caliper would be helpful
  8. Not really, in most cases the last 3 digits of the VIN don't work and then the centre console trims need to be taken off, followed by the radio and then hook up a "decoder" box sort of thing to it, which decodes it I've actually got a list of numbers you can try, i think its mainly for cars before 06 but
