Hi David, I tried again today and it does beep and light on. I didn't know I have to really press the brake hard enough to get the beep on. Thank god mine working. :)

just checked kluger brochure 2wd should equipped with Hill-start Assist Control(HAC) but not Down-Hill Assist Control(DAC). Guess mine doesn't work.

I tried mine today no beep no hold nothing. Tried both way the car still roll back or forward. :( Doesn't apply to KXR 2WD?

depending on what color your kluger is. I've seen facelifted grey with silver rails doesn't look good to me. Yours I assume is pre-facelift i think should look okay. I just don't like the new color with black plastic surrounding the whole car bottom. anyway I had mine installed genuine toyota chrome with black rails.

Hi David, ya the pre-facelift it's only little rumble. the updated version more 'violent' :( . As for the KXS I didn't drive it. I start the engine and waited for 15minutes until the temperature reach almost to working temperature then I test the 950rpm. WHen engine too cold the rpm stay above 1k mark i can't do anything. I guess it's normal for the 950vibrator. :o

Hi Barney & David I haven't got time for the first 1000km service. Engine vibrating as David mentioned only during cold starts so no big deal on that. As for Barney's case at 950rpm, mine behave the same too. I went to dealer and tried out a pre-facelift KX-S it does vibrate a little bit more at 950rpm but hardly notice it. If you pay attention closely you can hear something rattling at 950rpm for the used KX-S. I reckon the culprit is the so called updated/upgraded engine mounting. @David did you try yours at 950rpm?

Hi Barney. Mine not sure at what Rpm. but it vibrate a little bit during idling. I can feel it either from the steering, pedal or gear stick. 800km on odo. apparently tyt claimed they had new engine mounting on the facelifted model but it seems worst.?? too new? lol

yes Barney. mine is KXR. love the v6 sound. so far did 800km. had it since last friday.

Hi everyone, I just got my kluger 2wd crystal pearl 7seats. had nudge bar, side steps, tow bar and roof rails installed. next would be fog lights and 19inch alloys. bought mine at $41300 with nudge bar, side steps, tow bar, full tank petrol, personalised plate (transfer from previous car) and 3+3yrs warranty, front & rear carpet + rear rubber.
