  1. JD your are right. I'm on 255. Much better handling than stock 245 especially B/S D400 with lowest legal speed rating and UTQG B-B.
  2. current kluger still made in japan. I think the new 2014 kluger from the US?
  3. they have this plastic surround wheel arch doesn't look good. lets wait another two days for the debut.
  4. I'm on Kumho Solus KL21 255/55/19. 10mm wider makes a diff. Much better handling than stock B/S D400. Good connering. Not so wobbly. and the car looks wider taller and bigger with wider tyres.
  5. open up your bonnet there is a rubber stud can be adjust under your bonnet. turn around and see if its better. probably someone turned it.
  6. Don't worry bro Rumz. I found some supporting documents from the Internet. wifey using PC. I'm on iPad. I'll post here when got the chance.
  7. To all kluger owners. This is my experience so far. First setup My KXR running on OE Dunlop 245/65/17 H rating(210km/h).-All good except some body roll during conering. Second setup Bridgestone HL400 OE 245/55/19 S rating (180km/h) on Grande wheels to my horror the stopping distance is very bad(at least for me). I have to depress the brake more and harder to stop the vehicle. I can feel the car forcing forward as if no brakes. Not only me noticed that even my wife does. It's big different. Third setup 20" CX9 wheels Bridgestone HL400 same pattern as Kluger 19s 245/50/20 but V rating(240km/h) is superb, braking same as original 17s. Initially I thought it was bigger wheels causing longer stopping distance but then after some googling only to found out it was the speed rating. So keep an eye on speed rating before you get new set. I'm selling my 245/55/19 bridgie now.
  8. sorry for the poor quality.. will post more picture another day.
  9. then i had cx9 20inch wheels today. to my surprise grande 19" 50% thread weight 29kg/wheel+tyre while cx9 20" 99% thread weight 28kg.
  10. Some updated on my KXR. I had grande wheels on.
  11. Deaks you can easily get it from wreckers. whether they fit or not you gotta find out with them.
  12. Hi Deaks, Those from ebay will fit well on our KXR. no drilling at all. Pull out the original cover unscrew the original bolts and use the bolt came with your roof rails. Not sure about roof racks though. cheers
  13. btw beside PCD what is the original wheels offset? I have a set of 19" x 7.5" et35 (225/35/19), 17" x 7.5 et35 (225/45/17) and 20" x 7.5 et45 225/30/20. those tyre size are yet to be fitted. im afraid 225 too wide for 7.5" wheels low profile..
  14. scared me.. thanks david :)
  15. HI everyone. Today I noticed some water dripping near the exhaust. any idea where is it from? I had a peep through the plastic cover can see a drainage tube. Could it be rear A/C water? thanks
