Mine has jumped up to 99.8L/100km twice haha, when I first started it after refuelling, but when I was on the road I was getting 6.4L/100km with roof racks and a pod. have you got accessories fitted?

Going of past experiences with other vehicles, you take out the lower part of the rear seat, Disconnect the wiring harnes and open the access panel, remove the pump, then remove the filter, install the new filter and start putting it back together in the reverse order. would that be the correct method? have I missed something?

Ok, care to elaborate? What part is incorrect?

Hi Guys and Girls, Just been quoted $220 for a trans service. I was informed there is no filter on this trans. They also said, they plug it into a machine, pump approximately 20L of trans fluid through until it comes out clean, then top it up. Does this sound correct?

You say you place you hand on the lower side of the handle... To clarify, Do you mean the inside (between the handle and the door) or do you actually mean the bottom (facing towards the ground)? Also as mentioned earlier, the car won't lock if a fob is inside. A long beep usually means a fob is in the car, a door is ajar. I don't recall if it's the same if the vehicle is not in park. Three beeps is usually the engine is on but the fob has left the vehicle.

Hi Guys and Girls, I'm wanting to change my fuel filter (Toyota quoted me $220), and from what I have read it's through the rear floor under the seat. Is it a simple process? Could I do it in half hour? I did see an old thread, there was a link too but the thread was vague and the link won't work for me.

Hi guys ad girls, I'm thinking of doing this to mine.. i just got quoted $1500 for a set of pads and rotors (all genuine Aurion parts) supplied and fitted from Toyota, I might just pay a bit extra and do the upgrade instead. Has anyone got Toyota do do it? They flame they can't fit it for legal reasons. Do they fit with 16" wheels on?

Thanks, but I can't get my hands in there to tape up where it's leaking from, and without axle stands I can't really get my head under to see wha I'm doing. Ill just have to call a tow truck if it bursts...

Ok sweet thanks for that. I have just looked at my car and they are rubber, but it has the "AHG56B2" campaign sticker. So I ran toyota and asked, and according to a Toyota dealership in Nerang, they don't always replace them with an all metal pipe. Apparently it's whatever Toyota has is stock that they use. So I have two rubber hoses going to/from the oil cooler. The hose that is leaking is coming from near the power steering pump, which going on that diagram is for the VVTi, and I'm guessing this could be why it's always making the clanging noise when I first start it, because oil is leaking out while the car is sitting.

Yeah that's what I'm having trouble understanding. See when I read it, from my understanding, toyota replaced one oil line as a campaign/recall. Then there was another they would replace as a campaign type thing if it leaked. Then the vvti line the customer had to pay for.

But isn't there two oil lines plus the vvti line

Me? No, I still have the stock 6 stacker, but i have a genuine Bluetooth kit and an after market IPod adapter. So I've got all the functions you have, just don't have the screen for a reverse cam. if I was smart, I would have bought the Presara, then it's comes with all that and much more, but then taken the rear veiw mirror out of the hiace (because it has a screen in it for the reverse cam) and put the cam on the front bar or trailer. but I wasn't haha

Oh, well, I never thought of it that way. Now that I think about it, I like the idea less, haha, back to the drawing board.

Have you thought of getting a genuine reverse camera?

I had thought about that actually, but the whole idea was to get more out of the engine, less waste of that makes sense. the idea was, when you plant your foot from very low speeds or standing still, to harness all the power coming from the engine and send some to the rear wheels instead of loosing traction and wasting it. it would be useful off road aswell, I'm not saying I'd take it the same place as a 150 series but if you're on a surface which requires you to have a bit more traction it would be nice. shame, I really like the idea of an AWD Aurion both sedan, it's and wagon.

I know they are similar but not the same, so is it possible to fit the Kluger AWD system to the Aurion? while your there, LSD's front and rear?

Just recently put re003's on my Prodigy, OMG what a difference, the rears at still the Falken I got ages ago and I want to replace them with re003's but they have two much tread to just chuck away. i can't believe the difference for an extra $25 a tyre, and $125 a tyre is pretty good for what it is. thanks guys/girls, love 'em
