i have the same problem.........feels like the car is gona fall apart....and i can feel the bump so hard my whole dash sounds like a rock hit it lol. i dont know wether its shocks, springs either!! and over a ditch the car moves with the ditch..i dont roll over it.

when i go to fill up ive never been able to put in more than 42 litres......? anyway the other day i put in $20 = 13 litres ($148.9) of petrol the normal unleaded from woolworths and it got me 150 kms before the light turned on then when that ran out i filled it up and it stopped at $60 = about 40 litres at the same price but this time i got vortex petrol at woolwoths. So i presumed well $60 is 3x what i put the other time at the same price so therefore id get 450kms. Now i was suprised that i hit 520km before my light turned on....how does that work?? is it coz vortex is better fuel therefore u get more km's or is it becase when u fill up petrol doesnt go as fast as if u were to put small amounts in at a time?? so now i dont know whether to always use vortex, or just to always fill up to the top to gain better fuel economy??? any advise?

i have 17s on my car and mine is lowered about the 35mm mark..... what i can say is... 1. on stock rims 35mm looks decently low 2. i never wanted my car to be low so i went 35mm, but with 17s i personally am not happy with the height i wish i went lower but as it is now i dont scrape or anything its just that when you park the front is low so u cant go over the gutter part which my dad always does coz he has a 4wd and thinks the car will fit over anything! 3. i was considering 18s but 17s is bumpy enough for me (i get paranoid - i notice even the slightest movement)...so im to decide whether it will be better or worse if the car was even lower...and whether staying with stockies with a lowered car was better. so really its personal choice what look you want....performance and all that jazz i dont think differs much...its just the $$ to keep it maintained.

spotted a corolla last night passing through the tolls on m4 last night during the worst footy trafi ever!!! didnt get to see the car properly but it looked really low and think was black...? and also about 12.45am this a black sportivo getting off m4 onto cuberland highway.

thursday night about 1am heading west on m4 a dumped sportivo forget the colour had big wheels, but was a guy driving with a chick in the passanger seat.....both seats were really far back and the driver wasnt even tall or big!! today at 9.45am passing rosehill racecourse heading towards m4 entry.....dark blue sportivo dumped rims exhaust giving it a hit.

what springs do you have and does the noise only happen when hitting big bumps? If they may have sagged then they may not be tight in the strut/shock body. when you hit a bump and the shock extends, the spring could be "floating" free and clanking when the shock compresses and the spring comes in contact with the spring seats again. It could also be the plastic apron that drapes over the shock piston has brocken and is hitting the spring. It may also be unrelated to the spring. ooops, forgot to mention that it could also be a loose nut on the top of the rear shock. you can access this by removing the boot trim. the nut sits on a rubber grommet and could have come loose over time. ummm ok? so whos gona come fix it for me. lol i have no idea about anything you said :(

i got this noise....but only from rear left? i got springs not coilovers....can someone tell me what the noise is from? only statred like 4 days ago....

i say MINCHINBURY too.....all us westies have been driving all the way to vilawood for quiet a few meets.....how about everyone drive out west now! lol

yeh when i first bought the car (was brand new) my sister was like do u have rats in ur aircon or something lol........ive had it for 2 yrs n it still smells...its slowly died down but people still notice it - i dont nemore coz im always in the car so im used to it!?

i got the jvc avx33 its the single din dvd player with built in monitor....im in syd. some places say its imposible to fit straight in some say it fits straight in i got no idea anymore? i dont no who to trust..... whos just trying to scrape more money outta me pretending it doesnt fit....or if it really doesnt fit. i have asolutely no idea!

does any one wannt install my headunit...if they know what they r doing? i need help!!
