    My 2009 Sportivo SX6 has done 183060 k's and is still going strong. i got it with 161073 about 6 months ago

    Done the figure 8s and there it no clicking noises or anything. All seems fine

    It seems to be driving like normal, and nothing looks broken or bent so im not sure.

    So I took traction control off and then went for a spirited drive... Stop at an intersection and took off abit quick.. Got axle shutter (or wateva its called wen the cars frobt end skips) and then heard a loud band.. Any idea wat it could be???

    That's the sound I want... but definitely not for about $500 for each muffler Has anyone unbolted the exhaust from the first join after the first cat??

    i almost got the resonator delete done yesterday but after watching afew videos I decided against it.. also found out the the aurion has 2 cats and 1 resonator and was thinking maybe delete 1 cat and the resonator.

    I unbolted the rear mufflers on my sx6 for 1 day.. The novelty wore off in about 2 hours.. Alot of drone inside the car.. Ive been thinking about removing the factory resonator and leaving the stock mufflers on but ive neva heard an aurion with that done to it (I dont want it stupidly loud).

    This is one hell of a build thread, excellent info and a seriously awesome looking SX6. Couple of questions... I cant seem to find the part number for the metal oil line and also did you need to cut any of the parts for the intake setup??

    Yeh thats the ones.. Havent even tried taking anything off yet.. Ill get around to it hopefully this week sometime l.

    How do I remove them ( the bits that are silver on the frobt doors and above the glove box and abit on the steering wheel and next to the indicator stalk) I want wrap them in carbon fibre.

    Bangtown is bang on.. It is perfectly fine provided 00 grade is used. Using a clay bar will also work.

    I want to lower my 2009 sx6 aurion... just need to know prices and and experience anyone has had.. also what springs to get (lows, super lows or super super lows) and is it ok to use the standard shocks?? also i will be keeping to standard rims.

    Im not enjoying the difference in fuel economy.. Went from 9.2L per 100ks up to 12.6L per 100ks

    Double sided tape probably wouldn't be strong enough.. I fixed it with sikaflex.. it worked perfectly, it was abit messy but once I clean it up it looks like new again.

    The euro sound is good.. it would be awesome if that part of the sound could be more distinct though. Not sure if a bigger pipe would make a difference to the sound.. would probably just make it louder I rekon.
