  1. Mine are fine bro, I just wanted to play around with them a bit
  2. They're proving very hard to find at any wreckers here in Melbourne. Does anyone know if the aftermarket ones are exactly the same from the inside?
  3. Keeping my ZR6 and loving it. Ever since I was 16 (15 years ago) I've wanted to build an EF8 89-91 Honda CRX and put a b18cR (Type R JDM engine) and LSD gearbox in there, but unfortunately health problems have gotten in the way. I think now that I have some spare time on my hands, it's a good time to start a project car.
  4. Man if my wife said to me I'm not allowed to buy a TRD, I think I'd fall on the floor laughing. She knows not to get in the way of my car dreams lol
  5. Hey Couzellion, I gave em a call yesterday and they said they'll call me back today with a price so I'll let u know when they do
  6. Thanks jeffy, I did a quick Google search and they do more than interiors. Not far from my house either. Will definitely be paying them a visit. For performance mods in Vic, try GTech Performance, Rajab Racing or MSC. I know the Rajab boys personally as they're shop is across the road from my dads. They've built the fastest xr6T and vl turbo in the world. Anyone know anyone who does pin striping? Www.extracted.com.au do custom extractors and full exhaust systems too
  7. Hey guys, Just wondering if any folk from Victoria know of any workshops that specialize in customisaing cars, whether it be from seats, dash, lighting, custom brackets or whatever and all sorts of other similar type mods. I know of a few that restore muscle cars and hot rods but nothing for the newer cars. Thanks
  8. My car on a full tank in city driving does around 430-450kms. Only petrol I've ever used is Shell V-Power. I did give BP Ultimate a try once but the petrol dried up pretty quickly. Also keep in mind I am a tad bit heavy on the accelrator. One thing I wanna mention bout fuel consumption. Before this car I had a 380 VRX S2 and I was getting 300km out of a full tank which is pretty crap. I ended up putting on carsales and it sold pretty quickly. Guy puts a deposit on the car and says he'll pick it up and pay for the rest in 2 weeks. I get my brother who is an authorized to give Roadworthy Certificates and as he took my spark plugs out he noticed they were completely fried, even though the car only had 50k on the engine. As soon as he changed them, I filled the car up cause I still had it for 2 weeks and I was now getting about 450km per tank. I felt like calling the guy and telling him to come pick up his deposit but I decided to stick with the sale and get something new. No one believed that a spark plug could change the fuel consumption that much, but it did.
  9. I think you all make good points. At the end of the day I prefer luxury over power, which makes Aurion the ideal car cause you get a bit of both
  10. Thanks guys. Appreciate the replies. WildSeven I agree with you mate, Sportivos IMO look nicer than the TRDs, and like I said before, I'm not a fan of the TRD interior. If I did do the swap it would be only for the extra power. Nothing more.
  11. It's done 58k, as mentioned in my first post under EXTERIOR. Also forgot to mention it has front and rear parking sensors. I just want people's opinion on how much I should put it up for if I decided to sell it and buy a TRD
  12. Hi guys, I was thinking about selling my Aurion to purchase a TRD but one of the main thing that's stopping me is I'm not a fan of the TRD interior, and interiors are important for me. Here are my car specs: INTERIOR Late 2010 Aurion Sportivo ZR6 BLACK Full leather interior Reverse camera with 5" monitor 6 Stack CD/mp3 player with USB input Bluetooth hands free with A2DP Dual Climate Control With.a push of a button,a set of electric arms pulls up a shade blocking fabric from the rear window. Never seen it in their cars so now sure what's it called Original Sportivo mats Push button start Usual cruise control, power steering, air con etc EXTERIOR Tinted windows (not legal) Has done bout 58k 19x8.5 OX2008 with Dunlop Sports Maxx tyres Pedders springs Camry style rear lip 2 x Original Toyota Proximity Key Sensor ($450 each from Toyota). This makes the car almost impossible to steal. When u approach the car with the sensor in your hand, you just touch the car and it will unlock. If the sensor is not inside the car, it won't turn on and off u lock the car with the door handle button and the key is still inside, it will not lock. Awesome if you're carrying a tonnne of shopping bags. If the keys in your pocket, just touch the car and it will unlock. No performance mods apart from K&N AIT filter and the really expensive NGK sparkplugs I purchased the door very slightly damaged. I've got photos of the damage and the entire process of getting it fixed. Damage was very minimal and only required a new guard and front bar which I purchased brand new from Toyota. What are your thoughts? To sell or not to sell? And if so, how much do you think it's worth? PS, car has just been resprainted, the car has never tasted anything than Shell V-Power and leather seats and interior are in excellent condition. Car is super fast and very smooth ride. Log books included.
  13. I gotta admit the first time I even considered getting an Aurion was after seeing a blue one. It was a stocky but it just looked hot
  14. Haha dude I'd paint it orange if I could. I love bright colors. Check this car out.. I'll send a link next msg
  15. I got an 2010 black zr6 which just got resprayed yesterday. It's a nice color but for some reason I'm drawn to white with black rims, times, etc. @defyant is driving around how I imagined my Aurion to be like before I bought one. But in saying that, I was thinking of respraying it a candy apple red or a metallic red maybe towards end of the year
  16. As the topic says. Everyone's been pretty cool helping me and others out. Thanks a lot guys. Makes our lives a while lot easier
  17. Hey brother you from Victoria? If so you got a new customer!
  18. Keon Park Motor Wreckers in Thomastown and Masri Motor Wreckers in Campbellfield. My cousins are running Masri whereas my family are stationed in KP
  19. My father owns a mechanics shop/wreckers and both him and my dad are mechanics. My brother in law also has his own shop but he mainly works on V8s. I will probably take it to Rajab's Racing. I know they specialist in Nissan engines, but I don't know Toyota performance mechanics. Can anyone suggest one in the northern suburbs of Victoria?
  20. Hey guys, I have been thinking of getting my Aurion turbocharged, but I didn't wanna go overboard. I wasn't looking for an increase of power over 50-60kw. I know can be really achieved with the right setup and a lot of people have told me I can get that extra power without touching the internals. I don't mind paying to forge the engine, but if I can get away with not doing that, I could spend that cash on some other mods. Anyone here have any idea if the Aurion engine are tough enough to handle a simple turbo setup that will add 50-60kw extra power?
  21. These ducktails are hot. My car looked so much better when I got mine installed
  22. Hey guys I've lowered the price down to 800 if anyone interested.
