Thanks guys... After further inspection the following day, I don't think a cut n polish will do the trick...there are lil chip marks everywhere surrounding it..n i can see the undercoat of the paint...(quite bad ain't it??) I think i may require a specialist to detail the car back to normal which is prob going to cost me some $$$..not to happy about it but what can you do eh?? ;) If only i can attach a pic here to show you guys what trouble my car is in... Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone can help me out. Whilst driving home last night, i was egged by someone on the road. I was quite angry about the whole ordeal . The egg hit my bonnet and I was driving about about 80kms..When i got home to clean the crap off, i found a scratch on my bonnet from that damn egg. I can prob put some touch up paint but then there is going to be a blob on top of that scratch and it will look quite F@#ed up.. So any ideas as to what i can do? N also not costing me a bomb to get it fixed??? Thanks in advance guys.

Can you claim this through insurance or is it not worth it??

Hey guys, I sometimes get this crunch noise when i change gears..esp, when I change gears in high RPMS...so should i go back to toyota dealer and get it checked out?? Or it's just common wear and tear of a new car? Other then that, I have been trying to look out for some of the common problems but I've only encountered one so far which is a vibration near the key ignition but after my 1000km service, it seems like the problem has been resolved...well i hope anyway... My insurance company (AAMI) only allows 2 mods as well but they are cosmetic mods (eg. i can get 17" tyres, stereo system etc.) and not performance incentive. So tat means i can't lower the car and chuck in new suspensions..:( <_<

I've got my stivo...it was freaking awesome to drive it.. i was so tempted to red line it a couple of times..heheh.. but i guess i resisted a lil.. but u guys think it's okay to do it every now n then? i dunno if i should or not... I did store it a couple of times though.. :o still trying to get use to the clutch and also the gear box..so much different to the excel i was practicing in.. ;) It's been good so far..i haven't heard any of the problems as yet but i hope i dun.. :D I've already done 100Kms....can't wait for the 1000km service...so 900kms to go! hehe btw, did u guys get a full tank of petrol? I only got half a tank.. is this normal?

Hey folks, I'm finally picking up my stivo tmrw or sat...I was just going to ask u all what i should be looking out for when i pick up the car... Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. (finally it has arrived..3 months wait) so there isn't really much done at the 1000km service?? NO wonder it's free i guess.. Keep up the good work. It has been a good source of information! :D

Been reading the forum...but what are the following items you guys mentioned about cuz i got NFI ;) :- -Whiteline Strut Brace -Whiteline Swaybar Sorry for my ignorance as i haven't been into modin cars b4....Do they do much in terms of performance to the car or wat? peekay34 - seems like you've done the most mods to your car...What are your recommendations?
