the most i've jumped it from 5th to 3rd is well... but then i have a diff gear box.... the idea of down shifting is to keep the revs up so you can shoot off again.... i.e. what i try to achieve in my 1zz is to keep the revs at wourn 4000rpm on everyday driving... and hight for track... depends on how hard you're going... hence to keep the revs up, travelling at 60 on 5th on your gear box would be at probably a bit lower than 2000rpm, and to blip to 60 on 2nd is probably about 3000rpm.... but i don't think your syncros will be too happy... also, at such low revs you wouldn't really bother blipping coz with the 2zz pedal placement, its horrible to work with when braking at the same time... (i.e. heel-toe down shift) isn't that right shao!? the screaching could also be shift lock where you have dropped the clutch and the gears locked.... mmm... not very nice on your car... but if you had a rear wheel drive... you'll be sideways~~ :D keep trying~ ;) and keep the revs up if you want to try anything like that~ ;) AND really know your gears!! (i.e. what rev at what speed on what gear)

the amount of stress the sways recieve is also affected by the suspension setup, hence i think how they "snapped" would have to depend on what setup they were running. i have snapped 2 whitelines rear, and they claim to have had a "bad batch" in the welding. however, the 22mm solid that they make now if i recall correctly, when i got it, i'm quite certain that it was 24mm. as the people at whiteline very well know now that it the bar is too hard/stiff, it'll snap at the welding (main stress point) again, that will depend on the material and quality of the work. 26mm is the biggest i've heard/seen. http://tw.f4.page.bid.yahoo.com/tw/auction...?aucview=search and people, watch your tone of voice to reduce any kind of conflict please.

i'm 90% sure they're different. however, i didn't confirm that with DC Sport, as the person i was speaking to was in HK and wasn't 100% himself. easiest way is to call them up. ;)

talk to Quantum motorsports in brisbane, they the mail AEM/DC Sport people. but! the 1zz-fe header in america is for the celica if i remember correctly, so might not fit. if it fits for sure, i'd have a set by now~ ;) haha~

white lights are a bitch to do... LEDs won't work, and then the bulbs are kinda not strong enough. if you get it working... let me know... i'd be keen...

personally i think that not having decent rubber and suspension to hold you down, you won't be able to push the car that hard to feel the 'difference' between the different aftermarket swaybars.

i drove the older 2.7EFI one for work, its a single cab 2WD. its called a workmate i think... all i can say is... it drives like a car, and is real easy to put sideways!! :D haha~ (esp in the rain!)

Hi, The sways made a huge difference for me. Whiteline Front - 22mm adjustable / non-adjustable Rear - 22mm Solid non-adjustable TRD Rear - 23mm non-adjustable i'd say depending on what kind of money you want to throw at it, and also, what you want your car to do... then decide. ;) cheers.

it sounds ok! but runs pretty good! ;) only had about a 4kw gain tho... but then i had a screwed up S-AFCII at the time.... will get it dynoed again... ;)

Hey guys, sorry about not replying... i kinda forgot about this thread... but i just went and took some photos.. i've attached it to this thread... The main RED is a T-5 Bulb (Red) and the A/C and the heat line thingy are both LED as for the clock... mm... that's just the stock without the condom... (coz i didn't have enough bulbs... ) cheers...

I just did it today to my Levin! same thing with the stivo. get some red T-5 bulbs and there you go... ;) have a look in the workshop area, they have a couple articles on removing stuff in the consol, roughly shows where the bulbs are

I've got a 1ZZ-FE too people!!! i always get forgotten... :( AEM on 1ZZ~!!
