  1. As far as I knew, different cars have their normal running temps at different parts of the guage. for example, a commodore sits about a 1/4 of the way through the temp guage where as my last car the needle pointed about half way. The temps werent too different, but my cars 'healthy' temp was indicated as a higher point on the guage.
  2. Although I do like the look of the hatch STI, I think I would prefer the Evo just because you see less of them. I like to have things a little bit different. My last car was a Nissan Laurel, and *** I loved it, not too many things like it on the roads.
  3. Are you looking at selling parts or are you going to try and sell most of it together? Thought I would ask the question on behalf of myself and anyone else wondering.
  4. Mine does that too, however I have a CAI. It does it for a bit and then, I always assumed when the engine got warm, goes quiet. Now this thread has gotten me thinking, what exactly is happening in this process?
  5. I wasn't going to bring this thread beck from the dead, but seeing as someone else did, I will add a pic of another chromed car I think looks stunning. I had this as my desktop for so long
  6. I didnt even think of that ...idiot i guess i am not suspicious enough by nature
  7. In January, I had made a road trip down to Sydney from Brisbane in 1 section (stopped off for breakfast only and yes there were several drivers). Trip to Sydney went fine, got to Sydney and had car off for a while and when started was fine, stopped in some shops for about 2 hours, car was still fine, went to a friends work, where we were going to follow her back to her house. Stopped the car for about 5 minutes and when it started again engine went really F**ked every time it hit about 2800rpm This sounded like the MAF sensor was playing up. Left the car at my friends work overnight and called NRMA they came out in the morning and everything was fine with it. The next day was a public holiday and the day after I was heading back to Brissy and I didn't want to travel back without it getting the once over by a mechanic. I called Parramatta Toyota (just off Church St I think). They re-arranged their schedule to fit me in after I told them I was traveling back to Brissy. I dropped it off to them in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. They said they could not find anything wrong with it and the ECU showed no error codes in it. They did fix a loose steering arm that they noticed, they washed my car and because they didn’t find what was wrong with it, they didn't charge me even though it was out of warranty period. I thought that they should get a mention for their good service.
  8. On Northside of Brisbane in Boondall on Beams Rd there is a Ford Focus with a GIANT prancing pony on the back window with ENZO TECH written with it. I get to laugh at it most mornings.
  9. I live in Bald Hills and work at Boondall, so I drive back and forth between there a bit. Have most of my mates living in the Toowong area so I also head down Gympie Rd and over ICB a bit. Yeah I think I would be keen to meet a few new people. I have seen quite a few Sportivos around Northside and would be nice to be able to put a name to them.
  10. Hey Everyone, This one was me, I bought Craigs Snowflake last year, I thought it was about time I joined up to TOCAU and said gday to some local peoples. Number plate is actually *** JOV. No more mods have been done since Craig sold me the car, I am happy with where it is :D Josh
