  1. I should be in, I haven't been to anything for a long time and I have been meaning to, this is the perfect reason.
  2. While he is wearing them I hope
  3. Around Christmas time I went to Chermside shops and there were cars absolutely everywhere, I saw 2 cars parked illegally (not in car parks, just where there was space to fit) and one car had hit the other car. There were Westfield security peoples taking photos of that one.
  4. I had to look into a new MAF about a year ago and from memory you would be looking at $600 new and $150 second hand.
  5. Over the Christmas break I went down to Coffs Harbour, at Macksville (45mins south of Coffs) I paid 159.9 for 98octane fuel, I only put $20 in until I drove to Coffs where I willed my tank up at around 10c a litre cheaper.
  6. I saw Silvabullit's old silver bullet heading north on Sandgate Rd at Albion overpass intersection at 9:30 or so this morning, its still looking very nice.
  7. Found my spring, now I just have to wait until I have enough time to pull out the facia and do it properly.
  8. SPRING? Dammit, I am already off to a bad start, I will have to look for it in the car, I have been too busy to vacuum last few weeks.
  9. This happened to me like 2 weeks ago, I came out after work and the little door was hanging a little bit open. The replacement part is the whole facia, as it will most likely be the hinges that are broken, not the door itself. Part number is 55411G but that part comes in digital or dial. I have called 2 places, the first quoted me $279 the second quoted $229. But I am also looking into how to glue it back together. Jay, do you know what type of glue would be best and what method, was the door in place while the glue was setting or did you glue it back in place then get the door back on?
  10. I am very keen for this, but how can I get into it without being a member on that forum and not having paid in advance? I just want to know where my car is sitting at at the moment.
  11. Noble, If you have a phone with Bluetooth 2.0 specifications it should be backwards compatible with Bluetooth 1.1. I would guess the reason the Presara is only Blutooth 1.1 is because you don't have a need for high bandwidth for just voice, The only real time you should need Blutooth 2.0 would be for data transfering.
  12. I have a 03 Sportivo which when I bought it the head unit had been swapped for a single din and the top space is now like a slot to stick stuff in. Looks stock, the plastic bit fits perfect, no gaps. So I would say this isn't a custom job, but there is something on the market that will fill in the gap left by downsizing your head unit.
  13. I usually get about 650 - 700km from a tank of BP ultimate. On my trip to Sydney, got from northside Brisbane to Just South of Port Macquarie (BP on highway) with just over a 1/4 tank left. that was driving over night, so no traffic except trucks, that would be around 800km off the tank if i went till empty.
  14. I would say it is far more mentally graphic. I certainly didn't like the sound of those screams or imagining something like that happening to me and my girlfriend
  15. In USA the 2ZZ-GE engine has Lift engage at 6500 rpm isn't it. Which even if 6200rpm is only possible if you slide the clutch a little bit, I would imagine 6500 would be impossible
  16. I stayed up last night to watch the Wallabies play, then i saw that Fiji and Wales was on TV next so I thought I would watch some of it. It was one of the best games I had seen in a long time, a very physical game played initially by Fiji, but Wales had a few big hits in there aswell. Fiji won 38-34.
  17. I am pretty sure a s2000 still falls into p-plater regulations
  18. The ring one wasn't that funny, until the end when the lights came on and they were still crying, and the second on is hilarious. Bravo superdave, Bravo
  19. Yeah makes it hard only 3 letters 3 numbers hey - but $950 i would rather spend on other stuff not a number plate!! Maybe pov is a Tassie word - its means like stupid or lame!!! No I remember the word 'pov' in NSW a few years ago, so no it isn't a Tassy word and yes Tasmania is a few years behind :P
  20. Ahhhhh. I was just jumping on to say that I won't be out tonight, and it looks like a cruise in happening. I gave blood this arvo and I am feeling crapper than usual. So I will give a very reluctant miss tonight.
  21. I am watching some of the games, and catching up on scores that i missed by checking this forum, but i haven't commented yet

  23. I am still on my P's in QLD too (off soon :)), I have barely even been pulled over by cops, My first car was an import, second car the Sportivo. I have had probably 3 or 4 RBT's and pulled over once for illegal U-turn, which I wasn't going to argue over ("if there was a car coming the other way that would have been dangerous", if there was a car coming, I wouldn't do a U-turn), it was a no points $70 (i think it was) fine, no biggie. I have never had them check over my car. I drive sensible 95% of the time and the other 5% I am still not stupid. I don't think it is only down to attracting attention, it come down to luck, or a lack of it, of coming across some cops who target modified cars. If someone says they got pulled over for no reason, I would like to believe them, however, the more often they get pulled over for "no reason", the more likely there is a reason.
