  1. There is a Bus and 4WD car yard in Zillmere on Sandgate Rd that currently have a blue Caldina (auto) (in the newer shape) as well as a black auto, white auto and white manual in the last shape, pricing ranging from $15k - $25k
  2. Got mine today :D Thanks Kenneth
  3. Silvabullit FTW. Cost me all up a little over $1000 and I got Exedy clutch, lightweight flywheel, and replaced oils and seals while it was all out
  4. The heavy duty clutch just gives it a bit more bite when you take the clutch out. The lightweight flywheel will let the engine rev more freely. and I believe it sleightly reduces fuel efficiency.
  5. I have spoken to 2 printing places which have said that this would be quite easy and one of them gave me a rough indication of price, which I will wait until I get a better idea of before spreading it about. One of the guys I spoke to was from a place that did a digital database setup and said it would be very possible for us to personalize each calendar. That would lift costs up a bit, however it would add one huge advantage - We could all have the same photos throughout the calendar and have our own car featured on the front or in the centre, perhaps a double page pic. If we can get the ball rolling and start to get some of the planning out of the way I can discuss further with the printing place and get an estimate on the price per unit and find out how many numbers we would be ordering. I will try to piece a few more things together over the next few days, but I am flat out at work, am about to move and am planning a holiday. Josh
  6. Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load! I saw this video first a long time ago and thought it was a laugh, I found it again tonight and decided to share. Thought I might warn in case of kids or work - there is 1 naughty word in the middle of it
  7. NOOO. So much love went into this car
  8. Do they face the back? Or am I thinking of something else?
  9. As there are small metal brackets glued to your teeth. If you bite down on something firm like an apple that is going to push up past your teeth, it is likely to break the brackets off. You could cut the apple into pieces and chew it with your back teeth though.
  10. Im not exactly sure what the question is but I have a small bulb in there that turns on. I have a photo of it somewhere as i am writing up a DIY guide. Hope thats what your after
  11. I believe Brissy is still on stage 6...and we have been told that even if the dams fill the will only lower the restrictions but still have some in place
  12. How long is a piece of string? You can (pretty much) get as much power out of your car as you want. engine swaps, and spending bucet loads of money, but the serious question shoud be is it worth spending money on big modifications? several people have given answers which say that woudnt be worth while mdifying the engine. if you want a fast car, sell your current car and get something more suitable to performance mods, but learn to be sensible on the roads first - no point in telling cops that you try to drive slower
  13. The same time as installing it you also inverted air intake so you were getting colder air? And you notice a change in fuel economy? Could it be that the colder air is giving you a better fuel burn resulting in better economy? Or it is genuinely difficult to test fuel economy when driving your car everyday on public roads. My drive from home to work, done the same time everyday will never be the same trip; due to road works, traffic, if I am running late, how heavy my foot is, and the list will go for quite a while.
  14. That would be a Baader-Meinhof occurrence. "Baader-Meinhof is the phenomenon where one happens upon some obscure piece of information– often an unfamiliar word or name– and soon afterwards encounters the same subject again, often repeatedly." http://www.damninteresting.com/?p=417 Mine is Blue
  15. Superdave, being the super Dave he is, was telling me how he had worked out that the trip between Brisbane and Gold Caost will only suffer by around 5 minutes if you sit on 100km/h through the 110km/h zones. You fuel usage will drop a lot doing this. I then came across this article and there are a few things that I would guess a lot of people already do (tune up car, run low viscosity oil, check tyre pressure.) But here's the tips http://howto.wired.com/wiki/Get_More_Than_...ithout_a_Hybrid
  16. I am planning on theme-ing my car white and blue, have blue head deck, have done bright blue console LED mod (I have lots of pics to post up as a DIY guide) and wanting to do something different with dash. maybe some blue in the engine bay and maybe some paint work. Hey Kenji, what colour sportivo you got?
  17. A Sportivo's tacho goes to 9000 even though the limiter is at 8200. The 1zz Corolla's tacho redlines at around 6000, but I am pretty sure that the tacho still counts to 8200.
  18. The Power consumption would change if you changed a component. You could be running on-board graphics and get a very good rating, and then you put a 9800GX2 in and youve just made it consume another 240 or so watts.
  19. It doesn't have the same impact when the same stunt has been done before. The rain shows how dedicated the performers were
  20. No you won't get sick of it, but you will limit them to get more from your fuel tank. I still have some bad weeks where I chew through fuel and the next week I have to be well behaved. 10L/100km is what I would expect with 95% of my driving in town. I have managed to venture above and well below that many times.

    Binge Drinking

I would also agree that they would never use lungs from a smoker for a transplant. When you have a perfectly healthy liver going into someone who needs a new one it is very risky, let alone using one that isnt even diseased, but has a chance of being. You smoke to get rid of the taste of alcohol? what do you do about the taste of smoke?
