  1. Hi Georgia, The only way I can think of would be searching online for local suppliers which will be probably hard too find or an overseas source like https://www.andysautosport.com/ which is one I found that makes kits, but do not list Aurions only Camry so will require careful selection and choices and I would send emails to make sure anything ordered will actually fit easily.

Hope you find something for the Sportivo that he is happy with, I am sure more will add any ideas they have for you as well,

  2. Hi Tony, Well as usual your the man for detailing, I have 3 top notch quality drying towels but when I saw the K Mart towel for its price I went and grabbed 3 more, I use them for a few areas but initial dry down after a wash it is leaf blower then the good towels and then the cheap ones for say the wheels grill under the bonnet and boot lid door frame interior areas, I am not too worried as the Flex wax seems to have it nearly dry just from the leaf blower and if they do get marked they can be used for garage towels. Your supply is awesome mate and I bet once the garage is sorted it will be heaven for your OCD.

Can't wait for the Pictures of the inside collections all in their neat and tidy places mate

  3. Hi William, I assume your talking about the headlight bulb and not the fog-light bulb check that 1: the bulb itself is not damaged as that can happen..2: the connection is secure with no damaged wires and that the bulb is seated correctly. 3: try and recall if you grabbed the glass section of the bulb when fitting as some just do not like any contact with skin on them leaving any oil from the skin on the glass.

I also assume the opposite lighting is functioning well, so try the steps I mentioned mate and please provide some more details

  4. Hi Stephen, Welcome, Personally copying any DVD from Toyota will pose a huge issue mate, I think from memory they have some sort of encryption on them and never really function well if at all. It may be worth looking into updating her head unit to something newer that has the ability to update online the memory cards in the modern ones. However some may have something they can hep with I am sure they will post if they can mate

  5. YW Edward, Glad you will sort the fob and visor out soon, I watched a You Tube Video recently from "The Car Nut" that explained all the Key and Smart Keys fobs very well, yes it will cost a bit but as he explains very clearly it is the security side of the computers in our cars that is the time consuming and necessary things to get the fob to work right, so I recommend checking his channel out he is a very well respected Toyota Diagnostic Tech so knows his stuff, being in the USA he does not mention Aurion's but being a mostly Camry with many similarities still relates to our beauties

Let us know how you get on mate

  6. Welcome to the forum Luke, a good line up of Toyota's in your family mate, I am sure any questions will get answered as lots of mind power in this forum

  7. Hi Edward, really mate there is no cheap way of getting the new key fob for the Aurion, yes you can buy the replacement case on eBay but with delays these days you would need to allow for delivery time, but it is the coding that costs the dollars as they have to programme the car to accept the new fob from my understanding. So either way it will cost a bit, as far as the sun visor as Ashley said check out a few wreckers as it is an easy remove and install just clip off the cover and remove and then repeat to fit new one. As with anything check it out and take your time and it will be a easy job. Let us know how you get on and we love to see Pic's of members cars to see how they are surviving now no longer being made so we are in a rare club.

  8. Good idea Aaron to change the head-unit out, you will not only benefit from a far more adaptable unit with modern conveniences but also save heaps on the deal as well. When we replaced ours for a nice unit I was after modern maps ability to update them myself and most important to me was sound quality as we love our own music and not the thump thump stuff on the radio nowadays. so went Double Din with 2 separate cables slipped into the glovebox so we can use our flash drives which I regularly add to as I find songs I don't have already. Awesome for the days we managed to do long drives, and as your all set up already with the facia and cables it should be a nice easy transfer over. Looking forward to your Pic's of the new unit when you receive it.

  9. TY Aaron, Great detailed description of the fan issue mate, I also would try out the middle of the road fix first before going to the expensive option. And now you know the dismantling procedure any future replacement will be much easier to do. I remember you saying the cabin filter was clogged so do think this caused the excessive build up of heat? most likely it would but how much?

Glad the oil issues seem too be now cleared up and the long runs will at least be far more fun for you before you change it all again

Keep Well mate and ty again for the detailed report

  11. Great review Tony my friend, I have totally enjoyed the look the feel and the shine since using the Flex Wax. I was fortunate enough to be gifted the first bottle as a present from my beautiful wife who loves to sit and watch as I slave and spoil with love our "Faye". I then saw an excellent special on Flex so bought a second bottle. Like you said everything can be graphene coated and I must say the lasting effect on tyres and alloys is such a surprise.

Thanks for the review I am awaiting the newest products hitting our shore, buying them will depend on how much they wish to slam us price wise, but the slick and slide car wash is the one I will most likely give a shot.

Hugs mate stay safe and strong

Happy Christmas 2021 and may 2022 be our year fresh new and a lot safer

  12. Hi Mate, Well Turtle Wax say 8 -12 months if you just apply one base coating, but the beauty of this product from TW is you can use it 3 ways 1: Base Coating when the car is clean and dry. 2: As a topper spayed on while car is wet and wiped in then dried off 3: as topper sprayed on washed off then dried.

So I have used it when washing the car just to top up the base coat and really helps as a drying agent as well as adding to protection. TW have really lifted their product range with a lot of new products due to hit our shores in 2022. So far mate since applying the Flex Wax it is fantastic, the car feels so slick and washing "Faye" as we call our beauty looks perfect and is way easier to keep that way.

I recommend you try it out but as with anything new read the directions well

    Keep Safe Merry Christmas

  13. Wishing all a Safe Happy and Healthy Christmas 2021, and I pray 2022 is a far better year for all of us who have had to isolate from those we love.

Please stay safe on the roads and try to find some happiness in visiting those we have had to stay away from for the last 2 years.

Love to all from myself and my beloved lady
