  1. I remember reading on OzHonda, that someone from the UK.. was moving to the Gold Coast and was bringing in their FD2R with them. So that might be the one. Here's the article: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.ph...;highlight=FD2R
  2. Yes, they will fit the Sportivo foglights. However at this stage, the pair of lights are currently on hold for another member. If it falls through, I'll be sure to let you know. Kenneth. :)
  3. I've encountered a couple of similar cases myself. My original plates for the Yaris were AZ76XF. I've always noticed the orange Yaris which lives down my street, however I never took notice of it's plates till one day earlier this year.. and what do you know? AZ76NV. We also have a camry with plates XPZ819, and once ended up following another camry from the same generation with plates XPZ818. Uncanny.. :P
  4. The lip is a add-on to the existing front bumper.. depending on how your mates T-Sport looks like, I'm not sure the lip would fit.
  5. Spotted a gunmetal or black ZRE hatch with an exhaust turning onto Park Rd, Auburn. Plates OZY-70Y.. anyone here?
  6. Fixed up the brightness issue with my photoshop of KevO's ride: :P
  7. Hmm.. I don't know why. It's not so dark on my comp. Once uploaded to photobucket the whole image got darker. =\
  8. Here's my entry for KevO's ZRE: - Eyelids - Osram Diadem indicators - 16" Buddyclub P1 SF Challenge - Mild drop - Fog-lights :P

Why can't foggies be yellow? I thought the whole point of foggies was to project a yellow beam to cut fog? Cars like the Lexus IS200 come with JDM yellow foggies.
  10. Did the install today with OEM stalk on KevO's ZRE. The whole process worked out smooth, no splicing or anything, just plug-n-play. The fog light symbol on the dash also lights up upon operation.. A couple of things to note: - It seemed almost impossible to install the lamps without removing the front bar - All you need are 2x lamps, 2x bulbs, 6x taping screws from Toyota (93567-A5014), L&R shroud (81482-12050 & 81481-12070), OEM stalk (84140-52100), and a micro relay (Narva 68062BL). It would occur to me that the cheapest way of installing foggies to a ZRE is to buy a Yaris Hatch fog light kit off eBay (~150) for the lamps, bulbs and screws. Then just buy a micro relay from Narva (~12). Both left and right shrouds (~77.10 each) from Toyota. Then all you would need is either an OEM stalk from Toyota (~156) or wire up the push switch from the fog light kit. Bringing you to a total of ~472 for a full factory like install.. still cheaper than CH Toyota.. :P Then from there onwards it's as simple as following the DIY I've written in the Audio/Electronics section. :)
  11. Not as much photoshopping as what Toyo is doing.. just simple eyelids, mild drop and gunmetal hubcaps.. this was a while ago. Wanted to see how it all looks before doing it IRL. Oh and another one. I wanted to see how white Work Emotions looked.. Loved the look but knowing me, I'd be too lazy to keep it clean. I also photoshopped in eyelids, foggies, tints, some badges and a mild drop. :P
  12. Oh yeah, it doubles as a self defense weapon.. you could knock some one out cold with a weighted knob.. :o
  13. Yeap that's me! Fuel was so expensive this week.. :( Anyway, again awesome ride! See ya around! :P
  14. Well done, the rear end looks a tonne better now!
  15. Toyota uses a thread size of M12x1.25. I have a 440gram Skunk2 'Type R' shift knob. It's great.. makes shifting a lot more enjoyable and smoother. The factory shift knob feels like paperweight against the weighted knob. Get a weighted one, you'll love it! :P
  16. I'm pretty sure that '05 Sportivo's came with the thin red Sportivo badge on both sides and the rear hatch. '03 Sportivo's came with the chrome Sportivo badge on both side skirts and no badge on the rear hatch. So the owner has possibly changed the badge to the '03 types. They are most likely genuine badges, as I have not noticed aftermarket 'Sportivo' badges.
  17. Spotted a Silver 05 Sportivo waiting behind me this morning at Lidcombe Shell. It had the JDM black headlight surround mod, lowered on gunmetal Buddyclub P1 QF/SF and C-One wing tips. Very nice mate!
  18. Castle Hill has upped their ZRE fog lamp kit to $485.. It'd work out cheaper to buy an eBay kit, some shrouds from the dealer and a relay from an auto store.
  19. Haha, are you serious ? its prewired ?, and what do you mean by main harness. I just bought the fog light kit from mars warehouse earlier today :P :( But atleast it comes with the relay, the lamps, screws, and push switch ( didnt want the oem stalk ) So now tomorrow i'll just order the shrouds / plastic covers. Yeap, have you ever looked behind your bumper? The main harness with the foglight connectors are already there. So that means everything in the engine bay side of things is already done except for the 2 lamps and H11 bulbs. You don't need to run any cables through the firewall. Inside the cabin, you need to install the relay, which is on a fusebox behind your A/C dials. So you need to remove the side trims, remove the air vents, and pull out your headunit before you can reach behind there. I'll email you the official Toyota manual for aftermarket fog kits. PM'd.
  20. The ZRE Ascent comes prewired ready for fogs. It already has the main harness in place. So the only thing you need to get foggies working are: - 2x lamps - 2x shrouds - 8x screws - relay (unsure if it's there already, will need to check) - OEM stalk or push switch.. Also, the ZRE Corolla share the same fog lamps as the Yaris and Camry I hope that helps.. Kenneth
  21. There are currently no aftermarket kits for the ZRE hatch (except the kit @ Castle Hill). Which IMO is not worth it. Hold that thought for a few weeks.. and you shall see something impressive. :P
  22. Nothing new.. yet. Just couple of day and night shots: I'm really impressed with quality of this Kaixen H.I.D kit. The beam pattern very similar to that of the original halogens. The cutoff is very visible and is not just a splatter of scattered light like some kits I've seen (glare galore). It lights up the road exceptionally well in the dry, as well as in the wet. The 4300K bulbs produce a very natural warm white colour just like your Accord Euro's or any other car with OEM H.I.D's. The cutoff even has a faint red banding colour.. :P Overall, really high quality kit. I'd happily recommend it to anyone even if it's pricey compared to the eBay kits, at the end of the day you get what you pay for. :) I hope that helps anyone who's looking into H.I.D kits. :)
