  1. I gotta say tho. it is pretty annoying when these noobs come on here and ask a simple question that deserves a simple answer. instead they get told to "search". I hate that search thing too. that's why this forum is moving closer to death. no one ever feels welcome anymore. why not instead of going to the trouble of telling them to search and critcising their actions, give them a straight forward answer? the search button doesn't work cos it's full of crap like this! that's my 2 cents. I'm Kent Brockman.
  2. a lot of ppl have already said it but i'm gonna say it. LEARN TO SHIFT. My car is completely stock and since buying i never miss lift from 1st to 2nd if i try. to be honest i don't understand how it could be so difficult.
  3. yeah it's gotta be the tyre pressure. no doubt at all. i run 32-34. the roads i drive to work on aren't the smoothest. but i can gt my tivo's tail out with full opp lock with out a problem on round-abouts and good benders, etc. no bounciness there either. it's a very soft and stable car for something that's meant to be sporty...
  4. My 2zz never burns a drop f oil no matter how hard I drive it and I just use the toyota spec stuff. When I ran full synthetic in my 1zz in the mr2 it burnt through the oil just like your saying with your 2zz. So with my experience with full synthetic. I'll never use it. Maybe you could also use a higher viscosity?
  5. yeah thats the model i was after thanks dude!
  6. Does anyone know the stud pattern size on a starlet?
  7. rollamods is correct about the snap oversteer fix. but when you get used to controlling the snap oversteer it is so much fun. roundabouts feel like straight road. i miss midengine so much
  8. they're no good anyway. completely rice. you may think they look good but they're just not very functional.
  9. there's no annual fees in vic. well none that i know of since i bought plates
  10. top picks would have to be kona or specialized. although i think specialized is a little overrated, kinda like nike
  11. yeah the maxima would be quicker in a straight line but its suspension is really ****. i'd go the maxima. it's got a be way better engine. i personally thin it looks better. I've driven both and the maxima is way more comfy. don't worry about it being auto. it's a cruiser anyway. a few mod's here and there and u'd be almost gwtting v8 performance
  12. yes pics can come in very handy for legal issues and such
  13. just get a mad down hill bike. you'll get even fitter than a road bike cos you'll have to pedal harder. but on the weekends at least you'll be able to bomb some mountains and get some of that adrenalin stuff pumpin!
  14. yeah don't go to jb. I got a whole custom job done in my car at car audio retailer and saved about $1000 on components. all top rockford stuff too.
  15. yeah i had zero this morning as well. haven't seen a minus.
  16. i'd hate to have been the owner on that last one. a guy pulled out in front of me last year while i was doin about 60-70kmh. i had wicked whip lash that day. I still made it to work on time though.
  17. ahahahahaha couldn't have been serious
  18. yeah i had a choice between red or black. but the black one had an extra 50 000 kays on it. so red was the easy choice.
  19. I'm def interested in BC stuff. I'll be even more interested when the BC range broadens to include more bolt on products for our rolla's
  20. I will try. but my car is so stock I'm almost embarrassed to drive it. Don't really know that side of town too well either. but we'll see.
  21. Here's some pics of my rides. past and presnt. My MR2 had stuff all mods apart from the rims and stereo and exhaust cos i spent more money on repairs once the warranty ran out. My 'rolla is still stock as rock. first mods will be coil overs. can't wait!
