  1. The advantage of multi-piece wheels (aka modular wheels) is that you can change out the individual pieces to vary offset and width. Also you can use different materials for different parts, ie using a magnesium alloy on a wheel centre on a 3 piece wheel.
  2. The head unit itself accepts the 6 cds..
  3. Nice clean looking facelift stivo. The noise you hear when decelerating is due to the slotted rotors.
  4. I get avg 600km out of 50L (fill up when light comes on) on BP Ultimate only. That's with pretty spirited driving every once in a while. My min is about 525ish
  5. No projectors available for ZZE series Corollas. If you want it, it will have to be custom retrofitted.
  6. Where do they sell the 05 version? I've been looking everywhere. Facelift C-One cooling panel can be purchased from RHDJapan.com.
  7. They are different. I had them ship me the pre facelift one before selling it to get the right one.
  8. Mate these are some silly questions. A simple look on carsales will give you a rough price they are going for. And you haven't stated where you live so there's no point asking us if there's any near by your place. I'm sure there are tons. After all it is a Corolla.
  9. This is starting to bug me. It has been posted so many times. You need: -front fenders -headlights + new bulbs + rewiring of connectors -bonnet -front bumper -radiator support not sure if the guard liners and the underside splash guards are the same or not. Just buy a damn facelift!
  10. Congrats Daryl! Defend us from those lame ***** spambots
  11. I see what you are trying to do. It seems very US. Very showy. Couple of things that would complete this look would be: -some wider bright rims with hellaflush offset ;) with some stretched tyres -an uber low stance With all that in mind, it will actually make the red accents look not so tacky. So maybe some custom painted black rims with candy apple lip are in order
  12. Cool... how much are you selling yours for? I checked with Toyota and they are selling it for $1200 complete. Don't really want to spend that much. I'm happier with a fiberglass kit. Eyelids are sanded, prepped and primed ready for paint. They are the Topstage eyelids. I'll let them go for $80 shipped anywhere in Aust. This is what they look like on my car:
  13. You could get the Sportivo kit from Toyota. If you want some eyelids have some I'm selling.
  14. Thanks for everyones concern. I went back to them on Friday and told them that I wasn't satisfied with the paintwork. They said that they will fix it. They are going to try to buff it out first then if required respray the clear coat. But that won't be for a few weeks time as there are still parts that are missing and parts they haven't done ie side mirror cover and rear hatch. So they will call me when these parts arrive and will finish my car off then. These guys aren't bad. I had my car resprayed there last time when my car got vandalised. I just think they rushed the job a little.
  15. I have some eyelids that are unpainted: These are a spare pair that have never been on a car so they are new. What they look like on my car, which happens to be a silver facelift stivo as well B) 80 bucks shipped. Let me know if you want them.
  16. Hey Lee, I got the car back yesterday but I am not happy with the work on it. The whole paint job has been rushed and there are grains of sand and dirt stuck in the clear coat. I think this could be because they applied the clear coat so heavily. There's also a couple of finger prints on the paint as well. At the time I picked it up I couldn't see any of the imperfections because it was in direct sunlight and it was hard to tell and to be honest didn't think it was gonna be this bad. Last time they did my car they did a great job :( I'm happy I've got my car back but pretty devo with the way she looks.
  17. As I am getting a whole new head built with some new shiny bits I'll let you in with what I know. If you don't want to run an aftermarket ecu, then the stage 2 Pipers are they way to go. Although you won't get a great gain out of them without tuning. The stage 3 MWRs and Pipers require: -new valves and springs -aftermarket ecu This is at a minimum. If you think that it will make a drastic difference you'll be disappointed. It complements all your work on the head and engine.
  18. So in other words upgrade to a Celica instead of a Sportivo? Even then that'll only drop a coulpe hundred rpm from a Sportivo at 120km/h. Well if he changed tyre profile to something slightly oversized then it will make a lil more difference. Just don't want this guy to be changing cars just to have lower rpms at 120 to find out it will be higher in the stivo. It seems like it is an important factor to the OP.
  19. Here are some pics of fresh CES Racing headers (ie ported stock ones) This is what my collector looks like: And what the engine side looks like: I'm gonna be selling these soon for a better setup..
  20. Grille- eBay C-One wingtips- eBay badges- go to your Toyota dealer. Get eyelids while your at it..
  21. I think some of you guys are missing the point that he is making. If you think the ratios on the 1zz are geared too short then you won't be happy with a stivo or the 6 speed box. I sit close to 4000 at only 110.
  22. 2ZZ and 1ZZ flywheels are different so they won't bolt up.
