  1. $10500 for a new TRD supecharger.................f$%king please. Thats what toyota would be charging no denying but I fix radial engines on aircraft and that is up there with A/C parts for stupidity in pricing. And welcome TRN, beautiful car you got there.
  2. I took the rear Aurion badge off my black SX6 last weekend and it looks a hell of a lot better, the SX6 badge is coming off today, I am just letter the car warm up in the sun during the hot part of the day so it aids me in getting the badge off with minimal fuss, I think I will put it on the console as well like others have done as well. It looks a hell of a lot cleaner without the badge, I am not sure what to do with the side lettering though..............
  3. I think you will find the tranny flare when the engine is cold is due to the transmisson oil also being cold.............
  4. Did it improve cornering a fair bit??? how much did it cost?
  5. nice work, i am not a fan of that style of grille, too open for mine, I like the original just fine, but kudos to you for modding the Aurion.
  6. I have both a VE and an Aurion SX6 in my driveway, and I will give you the tip, the VE can go and get f$%ked as far as I'm concerned. Absolute piece of $hit, and I was a pretty staunch Holden fan............................. It has been recalled 3 times in the year my missus has owned it for various things, I will be glad when the missus company upgrades the damn thing. You flog a standard VE on the highway (or anywhere for that matter and then do it to an Aurion and see the difference) the VE sounds like it its hurting whilst the Aurion feels like it wants more. The gearbox in the Aurion $hits all over the VE and so does the handling, even before lowering and sports springs being fitted. I get 2.5lts per 100km better economy than my missus, and I am a lot heavier on the gas than she is. So over a 500km distance that's nearly $20 in favour of the Aurion, you guys do the math......................
  7. F$#k the coilovers boys...........................Pedders shouldn't be any more $$$ than say $600-$650, any more and they are taking you for a ride. Don't be scared to get them done by the Pedders lads, I am glad I did it, wish it was done earlier to be honest.
  8. That's pretty excessive man, but kudos to you if you can afford it.
  9. Here you go mate....... from this to this more side on view These photos arent the best but in real life you can tell it's lowered significantly, i have parked next to other standard spotivos and even the missus could tell.
  10. yeah i thought the same, when I rang the local toyota dealer and tried to make a servicing booking for the 22500km servicing, she said the Aurions were every 15000kms......i think those servicing books are a generic book for all toyotas and not just Aurion specific.
  11. I put Pedderd Sports Ryders in mine and I wouldn't go back to the standards. The handling is much better (roundabouts are a breeze at 70kms) The looks are far better (the 45mm is a massive difference) And the ride quality hasn't been compromised at all. Best $550 i have spent. I am still running the original rims and tyres, I would love to put the Eleanors (18's) on her and see the even better results.......
  12. Mine is due for her 30 000kms service in about 2 months........will be interesting to see what it is going to cost. As far as I am aware, the Aurions interval is every 15 000km's, not every 7500km as some have suggested.
  13. *ding ding* Freddo frog for Seca boy You have no idea how many people up here who don't know the signifigance of those letters and numbers.......I am serious, I have been asked probably 20 times in the 2 years i have had them.
  14. I paid $350 for mine a couple of years ago, one off payment. Decent enough looking plate, see if the footy fans can see what the letters and the numbers mean........I had mates coming up to me and saying "they aren't your initials man, what does it mean"..........
  15. you're not knocking the SV21 are you? That car was the bomb (lol; no jokes about it being a bomb). I drove one for 4 years before I got my Aurion. It had been in the family since 1991 and was an ex-government car as well. Never skipped a beat. I still miss it in a way. haha!! that's the ones.
  16. IMO the green looks $hithouse, no offence to anyone that owns it, but a darker metallic green would have been far more attratctive than that. It honestly looks like the government cars (camrys) we had here in QLD in the late '80s.
  17. I personally think that thing is a piece of $hit.............but that's just me.
  18. You can't be serious Seca boy!!!!!!!! IMO the new Utes look like an abortion.
  19. Ditto here, the only b!tch on my behalf is my head unit. It's not loading cd's again, and it wont for a week or so, and then it goes away for 3 weeks, it's drivin me f$%king nuts. Surely this is covered by warranty.
  20. Anyone even thinking about buying a Ford should read that thread from start to finish, absolute tripe of a brand. I know Blue SX has had some dramas, but f%$k, that is nothing compared to that state of those cars.
  21. To be honest, the wheel combo that comes with the TRD is not that attractive IMO. I still think something along the lines of the B Boss Eleanors would have been more fitting......................................
  22. i do about 60%-40% highway to town driving, i tried nana-ing the car big time for the last 3 fills and I can't get any better than 10l/100km.
