well the girls got picked up from the maccas in auburn by some bloke (suppsdly he was beefed up) so he doesnt really know where they were from.well it wasnt like they bashed him or nething...one of the girls asked if they could use his phone while the other flirted with him so she could get his wallet...Then he says a car pulls up with some beefy dude in the front seat...and then the girls bail with his ****...we thought it was funny....newyz my mate aint tht big, and he jst turned 18...those girls looked like they were in their mid 20s....dont get me wrong im sure this could happen newhere, but from some guys i have talked to who live in syd say that the western suburbs is a scary place....none of us were quite sure wat nationality they were...they had dark hair and were hot..thats all we knew :P....well if my mate wasnt soo desperate he prob wouldnt have gotten his **** stolen...haha we all had a laugh abt it in the end so did he...we jst thought it was a lil stupid of him to jump into a cab and not know where he was going... maybe u shld hit the same place...and hope shes there this week :P...

:( i feel ya, its been 6months and my car still isnt fixed and the funny thing is the other fk rear ended me so obviously its his fault oh but i dont have insurance LOLOL the other guy does so we courting it out :) ouch....how bad is the damage on urs? hes clearly at fault, if some1 rear ends you, its def their fault...i jst cant see how he can put the blame on u?? and wat r u doing driving without insurance??you know if crashed into a ferrari or maserati..u would be totally fukd! my parents would flip if they knew i was rolling around without insurance!

I guess everyone has different stories to tell. My family has been with AAMI for yonks and have never had a problem with them. I recently got into a bit of a bingle (not my fault), and within 24 hours of it happening, my car was being assessed and within 36 hours, it was at the panel shop. All I did was lodge a claim over the phone, rock up to their assessment centre for 5-10 minutes, and they took care of the rest. must be jst NSW...prob got top blokes runnin the aami up in brissy..

hey bud...nah shes got full comp insurance..we initially had 3rd party, but we opt to switched to full comphrensive since i started driving :P...yeah i dont thing they give a rats ***** about ne of their customers....i just hope they go broke durin all this financial crisis...

hey tripper bud...a good tip is....dont mess with chicks who live in the western suburbs....it was jst after new years and we were in sydney...newyz long story short....was in the city, one of the boys eyes a group of hot greek/italian babes at a club...he wanted to do one of em, dont blame him (he was single too...fellas gotta try rite?)...so he hopped into the cab with all three of em....abt an hour later one of the boys gets a reverse charged call from him telling us that he was ditched at auburn and they took all his stuff...neither of us knew were it was...took us nearly 2hours gettin there, and we found our poor mate...the girls had taken his wallet and phone..the dude was robbed!! now we know, to stay clear of the western suburbs whenever we go up to sydney and i have heard crazy **** happens out in bankstown....id say mate...let it go, u will meet loads of beautiful women in the future!

i would def stay away from AAMI...unless ur prepared to fight...we had a lil incident were the other party was clearly at fault....took us nearly 3 months and the conclusion was that there was not enuf info to rule either one of us at fault...funny coz when you look at the damages its quite clear who was at fault...newho they waived the excess and fixed the car...but mind you my mum doesnt give up easily....i reckon if i was driving and it wasnt my fault...i would have been slapped with a hefty excess...i hear that NRMA are loyal to their customers..like say if the other party is at fault (and is with a different insurance company) NRMA will try to ping the blame on the other insurance companies customer...well thats what i have heard...but NRMA is more expensive than AAMI...shop around..good luk with finding one!

it doesnt look like they are gonna be giving nemore out...sorry guys...one of my mates did the survey like a day after i did it...and he still hasnt got his...and he lives in Sydney....i say hassle em for it till they burst....for a free chamois its pretty darn good....

damagin someones property is a legal issue...and a path she isnt allowed to cross! you cant jst vent out your anger on someone elses belongings....you have every right to claim for the damages....

yeah i reckon the fellas r right...does sound like a drive shaft....was it insured at the time?? coz insurance should fix it up for u....

congrats on the purchase...i say do your clutch first..considering its already slipping its only gonna get worse not better...but i reckon the 2 best minor mods...is intake and exhaust..because they are generally cheaper and give you decent gain and improve the engine sound....ECU is the ultimate bang for your buck mod...but quite expensive....good luck with the mods...i bet you will get the mod bug soon...(perhaps u already got it) :P

have u check out the lukey mufflers? they make a mean growl...none of that fart canon sound....Lukey...good luck with it mate...

have u chekd out your local auto wreckers....im sure u can pick up a genuine tail light second hand for under 100..what state are you in?

i dont think it should be that expensive....a mate had a similar incident said it needed a regas....so good luck..lets us know how it all goes!

6Ks is way tooo much...3.5ks is perhaps the average price esp in matt black...i would talk to a local body shop repairer...coz they would be more genuine!

mr2s are beautiful cars....that being said....however they are quite expensive to repair..my mate owns one...if you have the money for repairs then def. go for the mr2...main reason y mr2s are expensive when it comes to repair is due to the mid mount engine....oh yeah parts and cheap either for the mr2....that being said it is a toyota...so it will hold strong (depending on the previous owner).....dont ever buy a modified mr2 (unless your certain the owner hasnt taken any shortcuts)...my bet is stay away from boyracers selling their mr2...chances are they have been driven hard and heavily modified in a bad way....mx5s are good cars as well...they have a smaller engine than mr2s...and alot more econmical thus the mx5 isnt a very quick car...however due to its lightweight...it keeps up with the best....most mx5 have been driven by older female owners...and they are loads of em around..thus parts arent as expensive....so in conclusion if your after an all out sports car that wont dissapoint (if you buy one in good nick) and got the cash to spend...then def. go for the mr2!! but if your after for a daily driver that isnt too expensive to run then get the mx5....btw its your choice not mine..its just my opinion....i rather the mr2 coz toyota make the best cars....bt with the rise in interest rates and fuel....you may have to bring those things into consideration....good luck mate!!!
