  1. If this the same unit as used in Prado's and LC's - the picture of the monitor on the website suggest it is for 5 tires. I agree, MFD would be better for that, but of not possible I'd go along with the design available.
  2. Thanks for the info. That is great I was waiting for something like this (e.g. actual accurate readings not those ones that just signal when the tyre in punctured only) for a while. I wonder how does it affect tires - e.g. is it fitted to existing ones, what happens when I replace one tyre (or all of them), does iy affect normal service by people like tyrepower, etc. Btw, how are these sensors inside the tires powered (don't like to change tyres because of a flat battery in a sensor) It would be great if you would kindly clarify that. Thanks
  3. Checked under Accessories - couldn't find. Which section? Thanks UPD: There's one for Landcruiser/Prado: perhaps Kluger's is the same (Kluger's list may not be updated with it yet).
  4. As a dealer option ? Could you please tell me more about it? Thanks
  5. The numbers (e.g. 17-13 in Sity and 10 on a highway) seem to be consistent цер what I'm getting. In terms of the service: I don't think they'd do something but what you are describing seems to be the same behavior I spotted on my fuel consumption reading. I have noticed that straight after the reset the numbers adjust very quickly for a while; than it takes some time to change the consumption. So what may have happened - they had the engine running while the car was still for a while, consumtion went up and now it'll take some time to get better. I bet if you refuel/reset and drive normally (e.g. not in a carpark) you'll get healthy 13 very soon (it always starts with 30!).
  6. I probably won't even bother with update... should better get a new TomTom with traffic.
  7. Ended up with a model from BushRanger. Front are perfect, back is OK

Thanks. You were clear in your post; I just wasn't sure you can use this stuff on glass. I have Maguirs glass cleaner and whatever I do cant get rid of those sumdges. Drives me mad. Sorry for the offtopic.

Thanks for that, but the description on M-Ron glass polish seems to suggest it is kind of a wax... I was actually asking about cleaning car windows - glass. It looks like I'm missing something here

I had the same question (sidesteps are also affected): plus - can anybody please suggest what do you guys use to clean car windows? Thanks
  11. Not sure if it is in CroToy's manual, but if your SoundLinQ model is the same as mine, you'd have to program it by playing with switches on it, starting/stopping the car, etc. So be sure to do that before assembling all the panels and glovebox cover back. HTH That's just what I needed ! Thanks a lot, I'll take some pictures when I do it and post them back here.
  12. Got installed by the dealer before the car was delivered... but that was because of warranty reasons: the install is straightaway if you know how to get to the back of your main unit. Tha cable and iPod are in the glove box - no drilling required. The cable is long enough for me to access iPod if I put the system into that mode that allows me to control iPod directly (not from the main unit) - but I never do that. No real tips on the deal, sorry.
  13. I use the one from vaistech (SoundLinQ) with my iPod. Full (90%) integration with the main unit. No probs so far HTH
  14. Yes, but it beeps all the time when reversing the trailer... which is not a bad thing IMHO (does not let you forget the trailer is there) That is strange. I thought the rear reverse sensor only activate in the case of reversing???
  15. I think there's something wrong with the whole thing. Whatever the sensitivity is, there is a setting for a delay between the sensor detects the dark and the lights are turned on. If it i set to say, 60 secs but the lights are still blinking inder bridges - there is no way it takes more than 60 secs to pass under the bridge ion M4 at 110! Some time ago I asked this delay to be increased from default - still no difference! Hope Toyota will have it fixed.
  16. Well, official Kluger's towing capacity (breaks) is 2000 kg. So if your total wight exceeds that... officially the rig may not be roadworthy and if something goes wrong you may experience troubles with warranty, insurance/authorities, etc. For one-off trip you may conside removing the gear, etc to bring the wight below the legal limit. It as also good to have some space with towing weight btw.
  17. Did alignment/rotation etc today (10K). Guys in the shop confirmed what was discussed here - fron wheels needed alignment.
  18. I guess this is geographical thing - in my suburb I can't even step outside the corner w/out spotting at least one.
  19. Guys over there don't like cars that do not look like some sort of APC!
  20. Thanks Holmsie, Yeah, it is that kind of click but sometimes I can hear it while driving (being inside the car :D )
  21. bump. Can you please people share your experience with me (thanks -JC-!) so I decide if I need to enage the dealer? Thanks
  22. Thanks. I reproduced the problem in a way very similar to what you have described; instead of window I played with RPMS - at certain RPM it clicks.
  23. Kluger Grande 2008. I have noticed that - when air cond is on - sometimes it produces kind of a click when it turns on when driving. Not very loud and not always but once in a while I can hear it. Is this normal? Thanks
  24. Yes, there is a hell lot of them in Sutherland Shire; some drive my street daily!
