  1. Yes, its chest. Still 5 stars
  2. Looks like there is a risk of driver head injury - the only place where the score is not top.
  3. I understand probably 33% of what you guys are talking about... but I'm worried and because I can't check tyres reliably myself will have my tyres inspected by somebody "independent" - like Bob Jane or Tyre Power... what should I ask for - e.g. just check, rotate, align, balance?
  4. Hey TKG, Do you happen to know if they used one of the SoundLinkQ products from Vaistec? I've got the basic model (w/out extra AUX) which works fine, but, despite it being mentioned in the manual as well it does not seem to diasble "I agree' - still getting it. Mind posting which model you have and how does it automatically goes through "I agree "? Thanks
  5. Look here (Toyota web site)
  6. Well, 3 km/h at 100 is not that bad. When I use my "normal" GPS, e.g. TomTom the difference is more notable.
  7. Thanks. Will try 3/5 and "long" next service.
  8. Thanks Taka, So your sensitivity (your car's! :D) is 3/5 and delay is 4/5? Thanks
  9. Have enybody noticet a bit of a knock when accelerating rapidly from about 40 to 50 kp/h?
  10. Hmm... Territory, Holden? All made locally... Well - we have it disussed here before: nothis rides like Territory: period (I'm sarcastic here)
  11. I find these sensors are very nesessary (even with the bigger Grande camera) - lost count when these beeps were saving my rear end. Get them on.

So if it is a crap design - what's next? I believe that card with the handbrake that doesn't hold is not roadworthy....
  13. C'mon, what sign writing! Perfect reason to change the boat (to a better one)! :D

Disgrace. I too seem to have a slight problem - when I drive (primarily when air cond on) from time to time I hear like a metal clinkin' sound somwhere at the front... will see if my dealer will take me for a ride...
  15. Taka, are you trying to swith the SatNav off or do some other thing to it? Its easy to turn it off, but you probably know that...
  16. Please note original AUX cable was not intended for Grande's that don't have an AUX port. I think that the AUX input Ahtsuff mentioned adds the AUX port to grande where you could plug the cable. I'm very interested though is this $95 accessorie is just a socket... or it does a job similar to my aftermarket interface? I'm happy with it as it allows me a full control (navigation I mean) over the iPod from the head unit... but if this new $95 input does the same, I've overpaid...:D Satnav in GRande can't detect speed cameras, neither it can show current speed, etc. I guess everybody's waiting for the v15 update, though, AFAIK it is not confirmed if it will show the cameras. Till then, when I'm in unchartered waters - go TomTom! I have the light interio - will look for the defect you mention.
  17. Thanks, 1st I thought that something is wrong - e.g. never occured to me that dash illuminationj is ALWAYS powered by the sensor
  18. Hi all, Today I've noticed something strange with the way dashboard is illumintaed. Let me explain: This morning I turned my driving lights on (was foggy), not on auto, and noticed that only the nav screen went into the night mode, but not the dash controls. When I was under the bridge and later entered my garage dashboard illumination automatically switched into the night node - (speedo dimmed, left panel lit on, etc) - as I was on auto. So driving light were on all te time, as they should be when not on auto, but dasboard behaved like it is on auto. Is that normal? Thanks
  19. Hi all, Sometimes ago there was a discussion here re. the setting for the Auto lighjts - e.g. how to prevent them "blinking" when passing under bridges. E.g. sensitivity vs the delay setting. Has somebody come up with a reasonable settings since then? My service is due and I'd like to have this adjusted. Thanks
  20. Well, I towed my boat today... not a far distance but what a contrast comparing to my previous car... Everything from the towbar height to the power (the only this that reminded me of the boat was the rear window) was great. But it took time to get used to the position of the handle in "S"... couple of times it was like "Oh %^%^%^% - something wrong with it":D
  21. Well, I've got a boat... and yes safety chains are compulsory and it is a good practice to have 2 of them crossed. Still, I'm thinikng, if the coupling is lost, theese chains may not always be able to catch the trailer arm... and the trailer nose-diving and potentially hitting the tarmac is not a good thing anyway even if chains prevent it from being disconnected from the car. Me think it might be better to prevent the loss of connection at all? For the long trips I mean.
  22. Towing people, what do you think? Regards Dual Arm Trailer Guardian

Was he also horrified by - as far as I understand the histroy of the issue - his own guy telling you it's normal?
