  5. Black Sportivo stock '03 / inner-west Melbourne (Maidstone)
  6. The sat. nav is in-dash, dealer fitted (my dealer got Strathfield Car Radio to do mine, & they ****** that up). As illuminati said, it sits where the current 6-stacker CD is. The screen flips open & you have a single-cd unit & tape deck behind it. The Map DVD is under the front passenger seat. Going back to the guy who had his cd head unit installed in the auxillary box, check out his subby & amp in the back:
  7. Spot on Peekay, drawings have been released for the 2006 Camry & quotation/sourcing has begun amongst local suppliers.
  8. I read in John Mellor's Auto E-News at least a year ago that Lotus Engineering is now owned by Proton. But I'm not sure whter that equates to car's manufacture as well.
  9. I got some pics from this year's show as well: 2004 Melbourne Motorshow Was well impressed by the Sportivo Concept Car, considering this is Toyota Australia's first real excursion into concept/design work (notwithstanding last year's X-Runner concept or whatever its called). (PS If that link doesn't work try this one: Motorshow 2004
  10. Is Lotus now owned by Proton Malayasia? Are all the new Lotus models coming out from Proton's factory? Just curious.
  11. Is mineral turps ok for use on the painted surface? Will it erode it? I got some **** I need to clean off & a sponge & warm ater ain't doing the trick.
  12. I just moved to Maidstone, my wife & I. Built a townhouse there. 10 mins from the city :) I work in Keysborough though, not so bad I get to drive the Spivo at least an hour & a half a day :)
  13. I've only ever used Vortex Gold...mainly due to the fact I got a Caltex petrol card for work...but I am very happy with it...but once again nothing to compare with, but I recommend Vortex Gold...
  14. yeh, whats another 2 inches
  15. d0h Accidently 'reported' my reply to this thread instead of 'quoting it'. If one of the mods gets a reported message from me is it possible to post it in this thread...cheers
  16. If they have a proper, good batch of paint (as in same colour paint, then on top of that a correct batch matching exactly to the original/master sample) then it shouldn't be a problem. The way the spray gun is set-up will also have an influence, e.g. they would need to have correct film-build thickness etc as per manufacturers instructions. If your paint has a metallic/mica finish to it, this may be fairly hard to match, especially mica, cos its a 3-coat system done by automated robots which I doubt the dealer/panel beater will have set up to do. Should be OK, interested to know if it comes back close to original.
