  1. Anyone interested in this one then? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-Aurion-Serie...id=p3286.c0.m14 Wish i had the cash...
  2. Bump... So what's the status? You installed the Supercharger yet? Blow anything up yet?
  3. Yeah funny that. carsales.com.au quotes a top speed of 228kmh.
  4. You sure the noise isn't coming from under the dash? That's a common fault.
  5. Yeah, i'd just take it back to the dealer too. Can't say i've noticed the problem on my car but the cover does look pretty cheap. Check that, i have noticed. Gonna mention it to the dealer when i bring my car back in (soon).
  6. I've got my car booked in for the 14th to get the foam thingy put in under the dash as well. Apparently it's a common fault (repair) with the Aurions but it wasn't serious enough to warrant a recall. They're replacing my 6 stacker head unit at the same time cos the display buggers itself when the car is parked in the heat.
  7. According to carsales.com.au Acceleration - 0-100km/h (secs) 7.4 Maximum speed (km/h) 228
  8. Yeah, i kinda regret not upgrading but didn't really have the cash at the time. So what did you end up getting???
  9. check http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=18184 as well people...
  10. Back on topic, anyone got any pics or ordered and received any of the kits yet? I emailed the supplier 3 days ago for some photos but no luck so far.
  11. No worries. I wouldn't say knowledgeable, just first to answer. My signature photo needs an update. I will wash and wax my car tomorrow and do another photoshoot. Since my last one, my car has been de-badged, my exhaust tips were changed, and I put on a new front grill. I think I'm done on the exterior, so it's time for an update. Now I'm tossing up whether to use the same site as last time or find a new one. At least being in an industrial estate, there is no shortage of places to go. Just need the right lighting. Can't wait to see it. I'm your biggest fan. You gotta get some mags tho mate. Still a sexy car never the less.
  12. You gotta get the timing right and follow the instructions exactly. You gotta do it within like 5 or 10 seconds for it to work.
  13. I'm confused, do you want to know which fuel is best for economy or power? Or you wanna know which is best for the engine? From caradvice.com.au: "Given the 200kW, the Toyota Aurion V6 will be the most powerful naturally aspirated locally-built 6 cylinder vehicle in Australia. If that wasn’t enough, Toyota’s figures are achieved using regular unleaded petrol, since the figure climbs to 204kW with premium unleaded petrol. Still using just 9.9litres/100km."
  14. You're not wrong mate. Aurions are cheap as hell over east. Good for resale over here tho. Good luck with the car dude.
  15. 45mm drop.. You sure about that? Sounds good to me. I've been told the Kings will only lower my car by around 35mm. An extra 10mm sounds like a bargain. Speaking of which, would you mind telling me how much you paid? I went to Pedders after today work to get a price but they were closed already. I was quoted around $560 for the Kings.
  16. Eerh.. that's just my Avatar. It's a pic of the Aurion Sports Concept. But i am getting the money together to do something like that to mine. The Avatar is my inspiration.
  17. Well, sounds like there's a bit of a Pedders fan club happening. I had King springs in one of my previous cars and i couldn't fault them. I guess my next question is, are the urethane cushions worth while? Does anyone else use them? I also found out you can get a castor kit (for FWD cars) to stop the rear of the car dropping under hard acceleration. The kit helps keep the weight bias toward the front. Sounds great but what happens under heavy braking? Don't answer that, i'll ask the supplier myself... Anyone else had any camber issues?
  18. Hey all, this topic has been talked about here and there on different threads. I thought it would be good to have a dedicated thread covering how and with what equipment people lowered their cars. Some say Pedders, i like the idea of King springs. Love to hear your opinions, results, complaints, problems etc. I still have my factory 17's on but plan to upgrade to 245/35R19 after the car has been dropped. By dropped i mean a standard 30 - 35mm drop. I'm in Perth and have already had a quote to have King Springs put in at Wilkinson Suspension Centre. I then read on another thread that the King Springs make the back of the car sit lower than the front. Now i'm not sure what to do... People say shocks need doing too? Resident expert - DJKOR take it away... (please)
  19. Be thankful you had the chance to fail Curtin. I never had the resources or opportunity to go to uni at all. You wanna be like other people, then get a regular job. Forget the expectations of other people, especially your family YOU OWE THEM NOTHING. You didn't ask to be born so if you parents don't like what you do with your life they can go **** themselves. Do what makes you happy and success only comes with some failure too. You can choose your friends but not your family. Look to your friends in times like these buddy. Good luck.
  20. Don't forget to take the spare tyre and jack (etc) out. Help shave the times down a bit and keep the weight bias toward the front...
