  1. DAM. The dealers here in WA can't seem to off load them, especially the DEMO models. I got my SX6 in december as an ex-demo at a good price. I had to hunt around cos they were all getting sold before i got to them. Finally scored one in Black and got them to come down $4K in price too (since they were over charging for a demo). Now all the dealers are trying to off load the ZR6's for 2, 3 or 4K at the most, more than what i paid. Choice of colours and rediculously low KM's too. Can't beleive you have to wait that long...
  2. Sorry about the late reply, i'm new around here. I bought a Black Aurion end of last year. My previous car was white and showed the dird up real easy too. I found the Aurion does show up the dirt pretty easy but if the car is waxed a good hose of (or park out in the rain) cleans it up without the need to dry it. I say park out in the rain cos mine lives in a double lock up garage so i actually had to open the garage and park it in the rain one day. Left it in the driving rain for a half hour then pulled it back into the garage. It dried up sweet with only a couple of water marks on the flat part of the boot. Pretty lazy i know but i did get sick of washing it. The inclosed garage does help tho too...
  3. Yes well the whole thing is kinda stupid. I traded a Volvo 850R on the Aurion. The Volvo system has a toggle switch/dial that allows you to change back and forth between displays. It also showed the current fuel consumption and had a reset button for the average fuel consumption, average speed and distance traveled. Having said that, the car was around $80,000 new. Still the Aurion is good value for money so we can't expect that Toyota will go all out on every detail of the car.
  4. I'm in Perth - Cannington area. Got a Black Aurion SX6...
  5. Yeah, it's a timing thing. I got it on the third go. It's alright once you get used to it. Stupid question but does it affect the VSC system or EBD in any way? Considering the handling can go out the window if you push the car too hard with the TC turned off.
  6. Call me lazy cos i haven't read the whole thread, but does any of this void the warranty? After market (or even factory after sales) mags and/or lowering...
  7. Anyone know if you can buy the TRD mags for a standard Aurion? Like stud pattern etc the same? Will a TRD dealer sell them separately?
  8. Sounds like you're better off buying the car without the Kappa wheels. Buy them once you already have the car and sell the stock MAGs to make $800 back on the deal... That's if it works out cheaper this way.
  9. Yeah, sounds good. Might come check you peoples out. That's if you don't mind a newbie tagging along?
  10. I'm too much of an amature to do this sort of thing, not to mention lack of power tools. Given what you guys had to go through with the installation could i trust a shop to do the upgrade properly for me?
