Yeah man, tyres are the way to go. Possibly the one of the biggest and best mods to do. Upgrading you brakes are great idea too!

Grab a wire brush or an old toothbrush and give it a quick brush off to get rid of any sand and built up road grime etc. And yeah, maybe give it a squirt with some lube to prevent it from becoming stuck later dwon the track. I find that doing it like this works a treat. Hope that helps you! :)

My matey who came over hated Perth, purely for the fact its too hot, I dont blame him, we usually go out campin down the brindabellas/snowy mountains mid winter, cant beat the winter chill. I hope what I have been told about Perth cooling right down during Autumn and Winter is true cause im hanging for it eh :P Yeah, the weather here will get down quit low Simo! As the title states, the Autosalon juggernaught is set to roll into Perth July 26-27. I was thinking of entering as a group. I can be purely just for fun and experiencing what it's like in the show events. Autosalon holds static displays. There's a dyno for anyone interested and dB drag comps for the audiophiles. Like i said, it can be just a fun weekend and it'll be great exposure for the forum! I noticed at last years event, there was a group of Daihatsu Charades! If they have the balls to enter, so do we! Corolla's, Aurion's, whatever, let's enter! Im just trying to gauge interest at this stage, so feel free to comment. Thats crap, the Zero 2's are head and shoulders above kings/koni setup and im not even talking about track use, even for the short spirited bit of driving they would shine. When i got my set they cost me just under 3K, one of the best mods i ever did to my sportivo. I agree with Northy, when my Zero2's were put in the difference was worlds apart to the set up i had before the Cusco's. Ive played with many different combinations of ride height, and damper settings and i still am! My only wish was that track days are more accessable here in Perth so i can really explore the what they have to offer even further.

Unless you can find someone who's selling their set, yes you will unfortunatly have to pay premium. Try greenline motorsport, they're usually competitive. Im glad i got mine when i did! :P

It was a pretty good read. Its similar to the "Guns dont kill people. People kill people" argument. Ive always said that the "Hoon Law" is a joke. You get you car confiscated, but your still able to drive hours after even though youve been caught. Education is the only way we can possibly try to curb the amount of road deaths, whether they are a result of "Hooning" or driver error. Drivers licences are so easy to get! Hrmmm, lets see, paralel park, stop at the stop sign, idicate, congratulations, heres your licence! Nothing on how to control a car in case of an emergency. Maybe if we were taught how to brake safely in the wet , or control a car if it spins, then maybe we'd be all safer and more sensible drivers? And lets not start on the whole car crushing idea!
