TOYOTA HAS PROBLEM. THIS PART kit - SPF2904K, IS FROM Fulcrum. AS THIS SAME PART IS FITTED IN MY CAR BY Fulcrum AND MY CAR IS 100% OK AS THEY ALSO DID A W/A. TOYOTA IS NOW USEING THIS PART BUT THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO A CORRECT W/A. EVEY ONE MUST E-MAIL TO TOYOTA ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND HOPE THEY WILL FIX THIS PROBLEM. WHEN I GOT MY CAR IN 2007 I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND TOYOTA SAID THIS IS NORMAL. SO I TOOK MY CAR TO RACQ AND THEY SAID THERE IS A W/A PROBLEM CAUSING IT TO PULL TO THE LEFT. I TOOK THIS LETTER TO TOYOTA AND THEY SAID YOU CAR IS OK. SO I TOOK MY CAR BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR, THEY WHERE VERY HELP FULL AND THEY PAID Fulcrum TO GET MY CAR FIXED. TOYOTA WAS NOT HELP FULL AT ALL.

Today i tried to test this nois on a new pesara, the noise is there. Same as the noise in my car. Dos any one noticed this noise, you have to be very close to the speakers. Thanks

Do u mean transmission oil, then this is some thing you can not check.

Yes, I had a Toyota service devision teling me a similar story. You must ring the Toyota Link and inform them about that. I don't have this problem in my Peseara (2007)

Very happy to see your $20k car. I am a camera tech, if i was you i will open all electrical connectors and spray them with INOX and also do a rust guard all over the internal body an the under carriage and all doors to prevent any rust. Also if you want you can install electronic rust protection.

I have the same nois in my car, the service manual says this is normal as the Abs system is doing a check.

This hissing noise is very faint, you have to put your ear to the speakers to hear this. It souns like there is a amplifer is connected. I also tested this in my brothers car (ZR6) and its not there. I am a camera tech and have checked every thing, its from the head unit. If any one has car with toyota gps unit can test this for me. Thanks

If there was a short in the head unit then there will be no sound at all from the unit. The unit works ok. I say this is normal in this model as it has the GPS unit. If any one has Peseara and can test this for me, thanks. With eng on and audio system off there is a hissing noise from all 4 spekers.

Thanks, Toyota also has fully synthetic oil, 5w-40. Is this a good oil to use?, as i also have a Toyota Aurion. Also when you buy the genuine oil filter you will find all the instructions in the box.

What oil are you useing.

I had the caster kit fitted by fulcrum and the car is ok. Its the caster causing this problem. Fulcrum QLD has the kit for the aurion and for the camery. There is a fault with this models, Toyota do not want to know about it.

I have the same problem. I have cleand the mooh roof side rubber with water, dust gets in the rubber. And its ok. Toyota must have some type of clear tape that they can put on the frame to fix this. As some times they use the on the door fram.
