for myself, i found it easy but just time consuming. You start from the very rear and then work your way around the sides. Just need a bit of force to get the job done. You'll need a 14mm to remove the top half of the rear seats and to remove the bottom half, pull the seats from the rear and they will come off with a bit of force as they are clipped on at the front.

Although I can't give you any info on this particular item, I've heard from several people, including one professional work shop, that most of the time, car mate's items aren't best fitment, so it will need a bit of work if you want it to fit nicely.

When installing your speakers, cut out the stock ones. Get a knife and cut them out and use pliers to break the speaker off the mounts. I say this cos I've known people who have replaced the whole mount (they're riveted in which is a hassle).
