  1. so basically a blade cosmetically changed to an auris. not an auris with a v6 engine transplant.
  2. congratulations on the purchase! love the exterior esp the taillights and wheels. post some pics of the interior leather
  3. sorry to hear andy. Paint work always worries me because theres so many things that can go wrong. Good that its an insurance claim so you're protected but more waiting
  4. i have a jdm trd steering wheel with airbag for the corolla
  5. Sorry Ill reply soon. Can't access my inbox in the mobile version of this forum
  6. i have stock 1zz catback in good condition for $50 but in perth.
  7. he posted a side shot with photoshopped height http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18246&pid=409904&st=625entry409904 I was with hiro about the colour until i saw it. looks alright suprisingly. good job A.rice
  8. These A/C pollen filters certainly do get that dirty. They are made to trap fine particles so going black like that isn't anything out of the ordinary. This was one of mine after 13,000km: :o wow that's all in my lungs now... the zze corollas didnt have them installed from factory...
  9. Could be that your old one was the activated carbon type? They are normally dark grey
  10. you can buy the spring from toyota the part number is 55445-12110
  11. i remember your car got vandalised twice so good idea in keeping it as a weekend car :) all the metal panels were damaged even the rear license plate lol yeah the insurance got 4500. i got paid out the agreed value.
  12. thanks mate. the wheels are full of brake dust from all the late braking :D it handles really well with some understeer in the dry but you realise its rwd in wet (made an idiot of myself at some roundabouts :P)... yeah the corolla was perfect mechanically, it still had the trd lowering springs, stivo catback and stivo body kit! a real preface stivo got sold for $6750 (hail damaged) the same day too. thanks i'm getting a e90 shark fin antenna for it to look more "bmw". the 1 series has great modding potential. something like 70% of the parts are from the e90 3 series so the m3 suspension parts are interchangable. way too expensive for me though :( why aren't you driving the corolla? keep the mods coming :)
  13. I love team white! Yeah its a shame it didnt come with xenons wouldve been perfect! Retrofitting oem ones is not worth it as the car needs coding from the dealer. Retrofitting aftermarket ones will throw a bulb out error from the canbus.
  14. thanks rocky glad to have you back in forums! dave i have a car now :D i went to the pickles hail damage car auction and saw the corolla sell for $4.5k. a few weeks later a guy from my toyota dealer phoned me about where to get the jdm taillights from ... his friend bought my car and is repairing it to sell. i was set on getting a megane sport 225 cup but there was none in perth in my price range. also looked at mkv golf gti's but too expensive. in the end i sacrificed performance and got a prefaclift bmw 120i. don't hate :) really happy with the car so far. leg room for the back seats is really small and its on runflat tyres but i can live with that. i know how expensive it is to maintain a bmw so modding will be kept to a minimum. mods so far are osram diadems, led license plate lights and grey vinyl overlay on bmw roundels. this forum has helped me so much in car knowledge and have made good friends at the meets so i won't be leaving this forum anytime soon :) cheers! other 1ers!
  15. haha is that two foam cups holding up the side skirt?
  16. i guess this would be the closest thing to an all white sportivo lip. looks great and different imo http://royalgarage.ace.st/forum-f3/topic-t13.htm
