  1. this is such a nice example of a yaris. good luck with the sale ray. what did you have in mind as a replacement?
  2. so sad to see this :( its a reminder of the risks in having nice rims. if those bastards wanted those wheels badly i dont think lock nuts would have stopped them sadly. did it cause any damage to the car? this is how they do it in the US http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7884131#post7884131
  3. ford has released pictures of the 2012 ST model. looks very fiesta-ish but the fiesta is a nice car :) http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/257095/ford_focus_st_revealed.html
  4. i reckon get a window mount like johnnieboi's but with a flexible arm and mount it on the small triangle glass at the side mirror and bend the arm facing you. where is the cigarette lighter in the zre?
  5. yeah I have that message on at least two home computers
  6. hey dave funny you mention the scarboro part dept. i had a good experience with them when buying my sideskirts. prices were good and were willing to lower the price even for the TRD stuff. city toyota part dept in northbridge consistently had the cheapest price and willing to discount toobut there was one guy that was really anal and lectured me when i asked for a discount lol, the other two guys were good to me. bought most of my parts from them. only got to service my corolla twice in my ownership. they were done at new town toyota. the service dept i had no problems with, two toca members work there. parts there are expensive though.
  7. whats your decision dave? or is it a secret? :D
  8. bingo! there is one for the auris check out toyodiy.com: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_2007_TOYOTA_AURIS_ZRE151R-DHMNKW_8401.9.html number 6 partnumber: 84152-02040 now you need a wiring diagram and hope the autolevel suspension thingy can be swapped with this switch.
  9. check if the european auris has a headlight beam levelling swtich for their halogen lights. maybe you can buy that switch and divert the autolevelling wires to that switch? thats if the auto levelling and manual levelling use the same system. if the system is like in the zze corollas, my diy for the zze might help http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26562 im selling my headlight levelling switch too if that works with the zre's :) http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=26879
  10. interesting info superdave. so with the rear interior trim and spare wheel it will be closer to 50-50 but heavier.
  11. i got two H7 hid relay harnesses $10 or free with your next purchase
  12. treated the leather interior with meguiar's leather cleaner/conditioner. thinking of getting a car leather dye to patch up some minor damage to the side bolster. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330468237939&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
  13. As far as im aware, my mate got the power from a wire (which is the wire that directly powers the parker light) near the parker light fuse inside the cabin. I had a feeling that the wires for the parker wont handle to HID ballast because originally, the right parker wouldnt stay on when the car is off implying that it wasnt getting enough power. So today, i put the stock bulbs back on to see if it would start up..and nothing. So im assuming i already fried the wires from the power source to the foglights? So i might actually like what you stated chicken, get power direct from the battery. But im not sure if this will have a problem in the future when all the audio gear gets installed in? have you checked the fuse for the foglights? you can buy a hid relay harness on ebay for ~$15 and plug the wire your friend made to the input and power from the battery. it shouldn't be a problem to your audio gear but double check on that.
  14. hey a few guys have done it to their prefacelifts eg. teit, legend888, Northy i actually did the opposite and put prefacelift runx lights to my facelift. I just followed where each wire leads to which bulb in the bulb holders and plugged them in accordingly. you can buy the facelift connector housing from toyota and swap it with your prefacelift housing. the corolla workshop manual (download from this forum) has the partnumbers.
  15. how did you wire the fog hid kit to the left parker light? is it getting power directly from it? I don't know if the wires for the parker can handle two hid ballasts. if you want to diy by a hid relay harness for your foglights so it gets a signal from the parker but powers up from the battery.
  16. check if your corolla has the foglight wires hanging behind the surrounds. if you do then just buy the lights and surrounds from him, micro relay and toyota levin/sportivo headlight dimmer switch. "Kenneth." has a guide on how to install it in a prewired corolla/yaris.
  17. contact this guy: v8force@yahoo.com.au he was the ebay seller that sold the foglights
