  1. The ClicOn stuff is good - have used them in all my vehicles over the last couple of years. Haven't needed one for our Kluger as it has factory BT.

    There are two types, the centre mount (over the airvent), and one that mounts to the A-pillar (which i think is then best, but it's too far from your 12v source)

  2. I was worried about airflow too Kewasi, but coming through this last summer where we had almost 3 weeks of 40+ degree heat I never had a problem AND I have an insect screen over in behind the grille as well as the lights.

    I think most driving lights would mount far enough out from the grille that air can still circulate in behind (as opposed to being hard up against the grille where there WOULD be airflow problems). Plus there is reasonable air intake space below the nudgebar where nothing obstructs it.

  3. I have Roolite 220's on the Kluger, and Lightforce 240's on my Triton - I think the LF is a slightly better light, but there is not much in it. The 220 Roolite fits the Kluger nudgebar perfectly IMHO. They seem to be a good light, and the beam is adjustable like the Lightforce lights.

  4. I would not say the Terri is crap compared to the Kluger. IMO the Territory was actually a nicer "drive" especially the TTG, but the Kluger made up for it in other areas so I was willing to forsake a little bit of driving experience for a better (and more reliable) overall package :)

  5. For what it's worth, I rotated the 5 tyres on my KX-S AWD on the weekend. It's got 30,000km on the clock and this is the 5th rotation. There is still reasonable tread left. On my Kluger I see absolutely no evidence of excessive wear on the front tyres - all tyres seems to be wearing evenly without any noticeable feathering or scrubbing. Unless the dealer has had one done, it hasn't had a wheel alignment and is used for 95% country road driving.

  6. I was a member of that forum for a while when I had my heart set on a Terri Turbo Ghia. That was before I test drove the Kluger... Sure the Terri had some positives over the Kluger, but also a lot of negatives and questionable longevity of certain components (in particular brakes and suspension).

    I think I made the right choice with the Kluger - no regrets whatsoever!!

  7. I also noticed that if one of our phones is connected to the Bluetooth, then the other one will not connect - even if the previously connected phone is not present!

    What I mean is:

    1. I connect my phone to the Bluetooth and use while I'm driving it
    2. My phone disconnects when I get home and get out
    3. Wife gets in with her phone (which is already registered in the car)
    4. Her phone does not connect - she has to go through the whole registration again!

    Both of our phones are set to automatically connect. Have tried selecting the other phone from the Bluetooth menu but it is never able to connect.

    Has anyone else noticed similar issues?

    Matty, you should not have to re-register a phone each time, but you DO need to manually select which phone is actively paired via the Audio unit in the Kluger. Doubly annoying is the fact that this can't be done while the car is moving.

    To select which phone it chooses to pair with (from memory, so I hope this is right!), press the Green off-hook button, rotate the left Audio button to select Bluetooth and then press, rotate to Select phone and press, rotate and press to select either yours or your wife's phone.

    IMO this is very poor design by the audio system manufacturer - my Mits Triton with cheap factory Bluetooth will choose whatever phone is in the car at the time!
