Make sure you post us up some pics when you've made that purchase!

Welcome Dave!
The GSU40R is front-wheel-drive, and the GSU45R is all-wheel-drive.
Good luck with the search :)
Cheers

Looking good Freddie - would be no good out my way tho, so no sense me even thinking of how mine would look with a nice set of rims
-
Pretty sure the contrast can be adjusted, but I do not have my Kluger handy - I'm certain it's in the manual somewhere though!
Cheers

congrats on the new toy Tom - as far as I know, the 30sec lock function only applies if the car is unlocked but a door not opened, it then RE-locks after 30secs. Pretty sure that's it.
However with the Grande if you walk away from the car with the "key" in your pocket, I think it locks automatically (could be wrong on this one!).

Current original tyres cause underestimation of travelling speed and ALSO distance travelled. So would replacing them with a slightly larger diameter tyres helps in rectifying the problem?
I am going print that Diagram G out in colour and mark all tyres with chalk. Then I am going to tell them I am watching them like a hawk to make sure that they do rotate them.
I'm thinking about getting the next tyres in 255/55R19, hoping that will solve the speedo problem a little (bearing in mind that an increase in diameter will affect the acceleration and possibly trip computer calcs)
-
Since I don't plan on replacing with the same tyre I will be buying a set of 5, so want mine all worn evenly hence I follow that diagram G strictly
-
Yes I do my own, partly because I do it every 5,000km and partly because I wasn;t sure if the dealer would rotate the spare into the mix. If I wasn't doing it myself I would definitely mark the tyres somehow just to be sure it gets done! (but probably not with chalk in case it gets washed off or something!)
-
I hacve been rotating mine as per diagram G - been doing mine every 5,000km, so about to do the 5th rotation. I've got it down pat now, takes me less than an hour.
More rotation discussion here
Cheers!

So far so good with my leather, although I treat it pretty well with Meguiars leather care products. Living where we do I find the black shows up dust, fingermarks etc. quite easily but that would not be an issue if you lived in the city. Mine is coming up to 12months old and no problems from my two kids and their friends. I don't really know how to tell if the leather is good quality or not, but it seems up to whatever we've thrown at it up to now...

Hi Dan,
It's a 50:50 split - if you do a search of this Kluger forum for "torque split" there are a couple of threads with some links & info. Hope that helps you?

Dear Folks.. I've finally succumbed to my temptations and also the influence of my mate to change my mufflers.. Went to dear ole Rob Bliss Exhaust and they put on a straight thru sports muffler, did a little cut out on the rear bumper bit so as to fit the tips nicely.. overall its tastefully done and at least the tips doesn't look that fagged.. lol.. IMHO the muffler actually adds a nice note to our little V6 and when I plant my foot down when accelerating, it actually "growls" like a Jaguar XR6.. lol.. alrite that's alittle exaggerating I know.. lol.. oh well all in all it was done well.. oh almost forgot, they removed the rear resonator to increase alittle volume to the muffler.. FYI, our 2 & 1/4 inch cat back is already mandrel bent for smoother flow.. not bad for a Toyota.. lol..
Will post pics soon..
Good to hear mate - looking forward to those pics. do you notice any difference in acceleration or economy?

Funny Holmesie was the first to comment on my Gadgetry in another forum over 3 years ago
and it's taken me 3 years to catch up to where you were then!! The carPC is going in any day now mate B)
-
amazing gadgetry and info there RR... it's taking me a while to get my head around it all (it's been a long weekend already!)
-
wow,... its much heavier on the RHS isnt it.
I'd expect that for the second photo with a driver in the seat and no passengers.
In general the steering assembly and instrument panel is also on the right which would add more weight to that side.
+ most of the exhaust is on the RHS

Depends.... are you running Nitrogen in your tyres?!!
I'd say definitely high than the brochure, but not significantly....
-
Gen II have panic button - wonder if you could cut and recode one for your model Kluger? Probably not worth the expense
-
Yeah, warranty concerns are what has stopped me from messing with the exhaust at all.... someone has to take the plunge sooner or later!
-
It could have been worse, a direct hit could quite well have put the car out of action. We have been lucky mate!
-
A kangaroo collided with the side of my Kluger last night - has stove in the passenger side back door <_<
-
I'd be up for one :)
-
I'm catching ya mate!!

It has been discussed, there's a few pages of reading to put your mind at ease, click here
Cheers!
