engine and exhaust work for sure man nothin beats a tough sounding car

even tho ive lowered it too it was no where near as rough as i thought if u pumped ur stock tires up harder than normal that about how stiff it feels so im very impressed...the nankangs are fuqn loud tho!!! <_<

I finally got 20's for my car on thursday.....this is probly the 1st time of got out of it since :D there EQUUS Geneva's, 20x8.5 with Nankang 245/30's what do you's think?

anyone heard anythin about the eyelids?

i once wanted coilovers too for the height.......but now thinking about it you cant go any lower than normal springs like kings and pedders 1. because my car is illigal with them on now, from the lowest pont at the back of may car is 90mm and at the front is now 101mm so therefore if your getting them for the height ur goin to be voiding warranty etc. 2. people with pedders are having scrubbing problems with 20 with those spring what makes you think coilovers wont scrub if your goin to be the same height or lower? unless u put a sh|t load of camber on them, then u heave the problem of less traction when accelerating 3. my car is getting a fair few rattle through it now since my springs have gone in cos there so stiff, id hate to emagine the ride of coilovers thats just my view but good on you for being brave enough to be the 1st one and im really interested to hear the result ;)

I did some searching last week for a spot and julz's #3 - Bedivere St / Cadogan St, Carindale (opposite Westfield Carindale) Council Park is a perfect spot and the photoshoot shall be held there. if circumstances change and the council decides to put a light in there i have a few back up places nearby at gumdale, thornside and belmont that are just as good. cheers guys rowan

found the wheels that im going to get....ordering them in the next few weeks they recon 235/35 there is no tyres that have enough load rating, 245/30 there is only one tyre that is avaliable and that is nankang but the OD of the tyre is like 1cm smaller than the original or somthin, i want to fill my guards not make a bigger bap between. they said 245/35 are the best bet, what do use think? will there be scrubbing? i no BONDIES scrubed but i thought that was on his front when he turned...correct me if im wrong BONDIE(kings are higher at the front than pedders that why i didnt think it would be a problem, but are lower at the back as u can see by my signature so im a bit worried) what do you'se think?

update on springs settling guys...rear didnt sink any lower but front droped nearly a cm and there is one finger space between top of tire and guard so alot lower than my sig VVVVV

mine was an ex gov car and the reason they do that is cos they sit around for a fair wile without being driven, mine was smoking (misty smoke thats white as u described) for the 1st 2 days that i got it...it must have been siting at the auctions for a wile but i gave it a good strap and it was fine ever since

hahahhahahahhaha no my car doesnt come out and about too much cos the people around our area (inala) are fuqn bogan and will probly do sh|t to it like last time i took it out....just went up to the bottleo came out and it had got bottled by drunk indiginous kids. so with the lack of garage space im still in there lol and i advise u to do the same :D

mmmm....id love to see wat the springs are like under that sort of conditions...but i think im goin to take a miss 1. autos with non 100% lock to gears and track racing dont mix to well and without haveing a cooler like the trd's i dont want to wreck my transmission and 2. ive had 2 mates that have done track days and w@nkers in pieces of sh|t have run into both of them and then there insurace hadnt payed, im also a bit worried about that, so guys sorry im out....when we do a drag day ill be in tho :D im keen to see wat daryl and elgin are goin to do tho.... calling red aurionnnsss............. how much is it btw?

i just had a look at this spot on the map and there looks like theres not much around there. whitestivo if there is a carpark there to accomodate us and it it dark enought i think this is the go. if it ends up not being right for some reson on the night, tingalpa is right there (julz's sugestion) or i know of a few boat ramps at thornside area which is the next suburb which would be suitable. wat does everyone think? ill go there in the next couple of nights and check it out whitestivo - i can only find i PO box address can u give me an address for it?

I'm looking for any excuse to drive it at the moment :) Where in brissy are you from? Nice car u have there too! thurday meet up happens every week, ive missed out on the last 2 and will be missing out on this weeks one too unfortunetly but check it out in the upcoming meets and events to see where it is :) im from forestlake on the southside what about u? group buy for 20's too by the way im keen to get a discount Serious, im from forest lake, well between there and tanah merah. I've never seen your car out and about! haha small world...nar i always get cought speeding on the boulevard and its too close to inala to bring the car out to much ahah ...i have seen a black aurion out one night not long back coming round the corner at IGA screching the tires, then again later flying the opposite direction...holligan whoever it was :D ...well ill keep my eye out!!
