handling has alot less body roll now (comparing strut brace on both springs) and can corner alt faster with no tire screch at all...very impressed i also have a 45 degree driveway, if i take a little bit on an angle i have no problem up or down. that is another reason why i like it a bit higher at the front because i wanted to keep my front bar intact. pedders springs would be worse because they are alot lower at the front then kings........come on daryl the wildfire would go good with yellow springs :P

Well i got an angled driveway so im parking it so mot of the weight is on the front...hoping it will seat that more than the back LOL it doesnt look too bad with those rims in person but im dying to get rims for it that will finish it off nice...im thinking silver rims the same colour as stock with a crome dish :D ...i really like the colour of the sportivo rim

Finally got suspension done yesterday....King Lows front and rear...got them for $450 installed...they are very firm, ride is a little bit rougher but just enough to know that its been lowered a bit and handling is resonably inproved! Im really happy with the height as it has leveled the car out alot...drop was after measurment : Front = 36mm and rear = 51mm and thats without them seating properly yet. here are some photos, as you all probilbly know pictures dont do it justice it looks ALOT lower in real life...btw top back tire is actually in the guards :o :D Sub is Polk momo series 800w RMS, amp is Option Audio monoblock 800w RMS....have to mention a special thanks to DJKOR for a massive help with the wiring :D

thats great news!! ive got supercat mufflers on mine and it doesnt drone (if anything i really i want it to be louder) but there is no noticable power increase which is a bit of a let down. im interested to see what they decide on doing with the squashed pipe section, do you have any idea? i think this will be the key in gettin more power out of the car. when are u starting ur experimenting? and wil you be dynoing it or just go by feel?

what do u call speeding? if ur talkin about 5-10k's over there would be not one person out there that doesnt speed atleast once every time they drive unless ur a nana or ur gettin watched upon by ur driving instructor..

and thats why us young guys cant get insurance on turbos thanks to 16yo's speeding in them

It frustrates me that they could so easily give the HSV's and FPV's a real run for there money, but they choose not to if the TRD was a RWD, manual and ran 12 lb boost instead of 7 there sales would have been out of control and be in the league of the other performance vehicals and they wonder why they dont sell well...

mines really firm i actully thought the cops (because my car is an ex gov. car) that they put stiffer springs in but after feeling the firmness of other aurions i soon realised that thats how they were. so yes my aurion is also the same and every bump u can certainly feel. i do really like this tho

yep if you have a TRD Aurion hold onto it cos they will be worth alot of money in years to come!! u can get an ex gov. one for abotu 35k atm but as soon as they all clear out u wont see them for that anymore. this will happen to alot of cars in years to come when fuel prices get really bad again. as i would emagine the FPV F6 would be another collector item in 10 - 15 years. these might be the HG monaros and XY GTHO's of tomorow. hg monaros, gtho of tomorrow please dont insult australian automotive history if a bogin heard u say that he would throw a vb stuby at your head u recon those cars are better then the F6's and TRD's????? i hardly think thats an insult good cars 'for there time'

what are u planning on doing with the car? are u going back to the track or are you just goin to use it for around town? i would personally go dor the full UR setup. going 1 unch bigger wheel to me is not worth the money and the style of the 17 that are on it look big for what they are. and if you want these for handling the extra width of the 18's arent goin to be much diff u will still have the body roll good luck mate

yeh xmas shopping about that...lol i havent even started =S tonight having a quiet one, tomorow pickin up mums new WRX for her...cant wait!! i get to drive it too then saturday night goin to the drags, sunday goin for a surf then sunday arv got an xmas bbq pretty full on but it should be fun :D
