  2. yeh people would have been like fuqn toyota hooligans....look at them go hahah yeh left foot on he break really hard and push on the accelerator till anywhere between 1500rpm - 2200rpm (depending on what the road surface is like and how hard u want to take off) then just foot straight off break and accelerator down...massive slingshot effect if u stall it up enought without getting wheelspin. that is the only way i can do fast starts without axletramping...if i just punch the accelerator from stand still like u used to without stalling it up...wheelspin through the whole gear....not nice :(
  3. oh right, well the ksports that im looking at only offer 1 spring rate for the 07+ Camry and that is 9kg from and 4kg in the rear. 99% of people that have it in there camrys are i4's and i know of 2 people that have them in there V6's. does that sound alright to run in an aurion? i was just worried seeing they only offer 1 spring rate and most of the popleput in there 4cyl that my car was goin to be to heavy to run them but obviously not? $1750 not installed...good price?
  4. Elgin i heard u axle tramp hardcore right beside me at the lights but i supprisingly got none...suprised me with the state of my tires(proves that stalling it up is a great help :D ) Daryl - u beat me that other time at milton in the dry tho so where even :D and around that round about was funny as from behind ur back was all over the place hahah great for a laugh!!! :P
  5. they only make 4cyl 6th gen camrys here and the spring rate for them is too soft for the v6's
  6. hahah 3 way aurion race from the lights on the way home....blue aurion takes the win haha Always interesting the drive home from the meetup!! and all 5 of us going through the ICB tunnel at once was fuqn LOUD!!!! :D good fun :D
  7. the other option that is brewing in my head atm is getting pedders coilovers for an 07 camry. seeing the springs that pedders offer for a camry and aurion have the same part No. y dont i just get the coilover fromt he camry? any thoughts?

  9. hey mate, im looking to spend upto 2k on coilovers (not installed). any idea on how much DMS charge? do you have to send stock springs or can u get a set of springs say pedders and send them them? cheers Springs aren't an issue, DMS liaise with other spring manufacturers on what spring rate would be required for a certain vehicle, and being a coilover type, standard type springs won't be of help anyhow. Unfortunately though $2k isn't going to buy DMS. Have a quick squiz at http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=18561 and you'll see that DMS starts at about the $3400ish mark. I know it's out of my people's range, but you get way you pay for, and DMS just isn't in the same league as D2/G4/KSport/Tein in terms of both quality, handling AND ride. cheers for the help dude....bit out of my price range but ill keep them in mind :)

  17. mate if that bikes as original as u say it is it would be worth a heap. Dad and i just sold out 82 Yamaha IT465, i dont no if u no the bike but there pretty heavily sort after for VMX (vintage motocross) class. we sold it for a really good price because it was original down to the original front wheel and only the 2nd rear tire its ever seen and we had it since new. there is alot of info about restoring if you go ur newsagent and but the VMX mag. so full support in festoring man! once its done it will be so rewarding when u take it for a putter every now and then. and in turms of the extent of restoring, (couldnt open the link so dont no what condition the bike is in) i woudl strip it bare, repaint frame and other places where paint has worn off, get plastics fixed, powercoat engine and respray it just liek that to make it as new, do everything thorough or its not worth the hassle. if u need original parts there are places that still sell bits (also in VMX mag) hoped that helped dude.....i miss our bikes!!!!! :( but had to sell it to afford the aurion
  18. how come the 4cyl's and V6's have the same spring rate? (D2) is 4kg enough for a V6? how is the spring rate actually work/measured? and increased spring rate will increase stiffness, yes , no?
  19. do those links work for anyone else? i cant ge them to open

  22. Because all I've heard was from The States, owners over there were reporting that it cost them between USD$550 - $650 including fitment at a Toyota Dealer. They apparently only drop 1" in the front and 1.4" in the rear. Also to quote a user (PrincessPeach) in the Toyota Nation forums: yeh ive jsut been reading that actually...not a good wrap for TRD products =S and also a bit expensive too :o might just follow the trend and get some pedders. but i went to falcrum the other day and the guy there recons they got Tein S-Tech's for an aurion that give a 1.25" front and 1.5" drop in the rear i havent heard of anyone gettin it done in theres yet and he said that if i got it id be the 1st that he knows of that have used them in an aurion......ahhh i dont want to be the 1st :( lol hey, did they quote you a price on the tiens? $700 installed. this was at hillcrest Falcrum. u thinking about taking that option? $700 isnt bad, but i want to get coilovers instead of springs. Are there any coilovers suited for the aurion? cheers a few of us are wanting the same man but unfortunetly noone has released one for aurions/v6 camrys yet :(
