UPDATE!! And it starts Thanks to Rolla Boy i now have a TRD gear knob, the standard toyota one really annoyed the crap out of me. Also Thanks to Mark (sorry mate now sure of your username) for the Sportivo Wheels, i was going to put new tyres on the 17s but i thought i would just get sportivo wheels with decent amount of tread. As i also wanted to get some RE001s for the Cappuccino. now for the pics I actually prefer the look of the sportivo wheels it doesnt seem as cheap and nasty as the rip of lensos.

i was thinking about parking underneith anyway to get some lighting!

I shall be there rocking in the cappa!

What is everyone doing about accommodation?

I agree you need to do something that you ENJOY and not do something because you parents want you to do something. I have never gone to tafe or uni because i didnt see the need to do so for my career. I see people all the time doing uni course because there parents want them too and dont even get into the same field of work as there uni degree so it was 3 - 4 years down the drain. These days there is so many different channels to get into different types of industries and i believe uni degrees don't have the same meaning they once did. Some of us sydney guys where discussing this the other day. Majority of business do prefer experience over someone who has been at uni. Uni + experience is always better. Although zoom did make a point that people with uni degrees to show commitment because they have spent 4 years doing a course. At the end of the day I believe (this is my opinion only) that uni is good if you want to get in to and industry that requires it such as a doctor, solicitor, sciencetist etc. Give it time and you parents will calm down and everything will be sweet again my dad stopped talking to me for a month because i bought the corolla and i had two cars. Just dont do anything stupid everything happens for a reason you live once and just go out there and enjoy life!

well 15s will handle the better then 16s. Europe have been getting 3door corollas for years now. That auris/corolla looks the goods, wish toyota aus would bring the 3 doors here. Notice there was a Portugese driver as well, makes that auris that little bit better too

i personally would stick to 16s..but if i had a choice between 17s and 18s, i would go 17s as it would handle alot better then the 18s.

New GTR doesnt fancy me at all...If i had a choice between the porsche gt3 or a gtr....i would go the GT3 comes in real manual...not that much technology bs crap. But then again if i can afford a GT3 i would have a R34 GTR sitting in my garage.

Pending driver and mods...but most evos with semis run anyway between 1:08-1:10s, with street tyres 1:12 - 1:14s last circuit club day i saw a worked s13 do a 1:07 which is quick for a street car. 1:16 is a great time for your first time, you should be able to get 1:15s or a high 1:14 next time your out there! Yuri you should head to wakefield when you get a chance it is freaken awesome driving on the track! I cant wait to head back there next year.

It is pretty stupid that you cant not purchase a car and use it for what it is for! I also have heard that subuaru/mitsubishi have declined warranty applications as well for to many hard lunches, apparanetly the ecu can pick up every time you do a hard lunch, not sure how true that is though.

Maybe try paddys or fairfield markets on a saturday?

Only problem being sunday...especially if the sun is out there would be a fair few people so it maybe hard to get some decent shots at the lookout.

i also have some pictures that i will post up when i get home, not too many came out due to the poor lighting at the villa wood carpark. Im not happy with them but i will post them up. It was a good meet good turnout and an awesome drive for those of us when went for a drive instead of a photoshot. Unfortunately i cant see Phils pics at work but i will check them out when i get home! EDITED: Great pics phil!

I tend to agree with everyone else, last year i was pretty down because i had a chick i was seeing she screwed me over! I was pretty depressed about that. I then became good mates some members from other car forums, started doing track days and started doing work to the cappa. I also tend to get pretty stressed from work i just hop on my favorite road, blast initial d and everything seems better. Keep your Chin up, you only live once and not point living it feeling down all the time. Be positive and stay positive good things will come.

Congrats Mate!! My aim is to get the cappa ready for some supersprints in 2010 (hopefully i will have more funds by then etc) Hopefully as i wanna do more then just track days, also thinking of doing some motorkhanas next year.

How can you fail business? All you gotta do is bull**** and make everything sound believable just like legal studies! When i did my hsc (all 3 years ago now :( ) I never studied i drank stupid amounts of alcohol, went and partied didnt care what i got. I didnt even get a UAI cause i did hospo and the test was optional and i opt not to do it and went to the beach instead
