  1. I used to work at Tralagon and the drive to Bainsdale is very nice. Under 10 is really achievable. Thinking my old Camry 3L V6 did 8L/100km on the princess highway. That is incredible.
  2. 285 on a 8.5" I guess some American dude able to put a 275 on the RX-8's 8" rim. That is highly possible that 285 will not roll out of the rim cornerning...
  3. Mobil 1 0-40W. Noted. Can I get that at Autobarn you reckon? BTW Grande is porky and have the electric tailgate, and all the electronic gadget etc. Also I have the pram and baby seats.... . I will never get close to 7 sec. Besides engine oil, what do you reckon... full exhaust? ;)
  4. I like the grill that is on the Highlander Hybrid, but not sure if that block the radiator too much. But now I found out (after seeing some mod cars) that the air going out of the engine bay is more important then going out.

    Cold Air Intake

I will take a punt... I will say there will be 2kW difference.

    Cold Air Intake

Waste of money. We ALREADY have a tube going out to the front of the car, ie Cold Air intake. Firstly engine looks different. And even saying getting 30hp from a Hummer is a bit exaggerated.
  7. Paul, Do a few more runs since most 1Hz GPS receiver will have lots more error (since they update once per second).
  8. RR, I remember Grande 4WD was claimed to be 8.9 sec 0 - 100kmh I don't have a VBox (that was a very impressive kit, RR), but have a 5Hz GPS delivered today why not use it with racechrono (from www.racechrono.com) That is my result Totally stock, stock engine oil , 15000km on the clock, 38psi, I think the traction control is off (I only press it once, is that off?) and just stand on the gas on S3. 8.29 sec <_<
  9. Call me boring (or get a life) but I FOUND IT http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...st&p=230227
  10. 22" will lose handling, less power on wheel, and lost the ability to run over kerb. I don't even want to upgrade my RX-8 to 19" for the road. RICE will tell you similar I'm sure ;) . I want to downgrade to a 17" for racing if the brake disc allows. I looks OKish... certainly different. <_< But I will not sacrifice handling for it, particularly we don't have much to start with.
  11. There are some in most Autobarn. I got them from there. They are white bottles with gold/yellow labels.
  12. Autoglym Leather conditioner, wipe on wipe off.
  13. Fleet manager are evil Good point Adrian, as I plan to keep the car for a while. It is still the cheapest to run SUV in the market.

Prado diesel is something to die for. Other than the tubro diesel, it is still not a proper Landcruiser. The downside I read from the 4X4 magazines is that Prado has a low ground clearance than some gun 4x4. My friend's Prado diesel went for a 4x4 day and the rear bumper got smashed by a tree trunk inside the river. At the same time, all the Pajero and Discovery went passed the same space without ANY problems. So Prado has it limits off road, but the diesel is very nice and the tank is enormous. I believe you can upgrade to over 200L tank. Talking about not requiring to refuel for a month. haha.
  15. You must be doing a lot of highway with that. Taking the trip from eastern suburb to Tullamarine airport and back (50km return). The average drop from 14.8 to 13.8.... what a clear run with no traffic can do, even less than 50% freeway. I now strongly advise all Kluger driver to use 95 RON. There is no other fuel give the power, fuel econ and price matching as well as the 95 RON fuel. I don't think an extra 4c/L worth for the 98 anymore.
  16. I can see the pattern now that 2WD has better economy. My advice is to stay away from Shell 95. They are RUBBISH (with capital letters). Going to get only Caltex 95 or BP Ultimate. There is no BP 95 in the local BP. Not tried Mobil yet. Now I will do shopping at Safeway and it will help with Caltex fuels. BTW I am around 14.5 for a 4WD Grande. That is city with 20% highway.
  17. I used to love black, but always have a soft spot for white since the white Honda Integra Type R from 1999. Love white car since then. There is too much to clean for a clean black Kluger.... it is hard enough to keep the white clean.
  18. Novus can fix most crack, and they should be very durable. Any one called for a quote of a new windscreen. May be I just call to see the damage. I have insurance for a new one anyway.
  19. V power racing is no good 2 months ago. I don't even use that for my RX-8! Try the BP Ultimate. It is going to good to the power!

    2WD or AWD

I am going to hire some. The chains for the 19" is $200-$400 a pair at the 4x4 shop. I ain't going to buy them just for 1-2 trips per year. Don't worry, they should have them in the chain hire since most of the LandRovers, Porsches, Audi are on the similar size wheel now
  22. I think blizzard white is the same as Crystal pearl, to confirm it is we have to see the paint code.
