  1. My son just removed the left one for me. Did you ever come up with a solution for this?
  2. I just bought a complete set from Just Jap Autoparts in Lansvale NSW. I thought they had another one for sale, but I can't find it now on eBay. Maybe give them a call?
  3. I have a 2008 3rd row seat in black leather for sale if you want it?
  4. These worked perfectly for me with two remotes I bought off eBay, despite the fact that it feels like you're doing the Chicken Dance with your car! Please note there are no typo's here if an instruction is listed twice, then do it twice. Toyota Kluger GSU4XR Reprogramming instructions: Start with the key out of the ignition. Open the driver's door (all other doors are closed). Driver's door is unlocked (other doors don’t matter). Perform these steps within 5 seconds: Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it), then pull the key out. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it), then pull the key out. Perform these steps within 40 seconds: Close, then open the driver's door. Close, then open the driver's door. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it), then pull the key out. [*]Perform these steps within 40 seconds: Close, then open the driver's door. Close, then open the driver's door. Insert the key into the ignition and leave it in the ignition this time. Close the driver's door. Turn the ignition to ON (as far as you can go without actually cranking the engine), then back to off. Remove the key from the ignition. [*]Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into the programming mode. [*]Return to Step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point. [*]Perform these steps within 40 seconds: Press the lock and unlock buttons on the new transmitter simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock then unlock once indicating the programming has been successfully completed. If the door locks cycle twice, then repeat Steps 9.1 to 9.3 as the remote was not accepted. [*]Open driver's door. You’re done!
  5. Any chance of getting the pictures restored? Does anybody know if the three spoke Toyota steering wheel from an Aurion Sportivo will bolt and plug straight in? Cheers Rod

    Rav4 ZX6 7 seater

I thought about this when I was considering a RAV4 (I ended up buying a Kluger) and I think you should be able to import all the parts from the US (cost could be massive) and then install them and have them signed off by an engineer. There are a few places that install generic dickie seats, that look pretty ordinary in terms of aesthetics and safety, in much smaller cars (eg: Forester) who might sign off on it for you for a fee. Then you can have it registered as a seven seater and everything is legal ... I believe. Here are some websites: http://seatsafe.com.au/products/additional%20seating/additional_seating.php http://www.techsafeseating.com.au/rear-seating-products.html As for safety, well it's up to you whether you're satisfied that it will be safe. At the end of the day, they sell the exact same setup you'll have using the US parts in the US.
  7. So after reading through this whole post, is there any consensus on the best value replacement tyre?
  8. Has anyone seen one of the Booter cargo mats? It seems to be deeper dished and still quite flexible. http://www.booter.com.au
  9. I think the interior of the current model needs a thicker steering wheel (and i do prefer three spokes like the RAV4) and more lateral support in at least the front seats. I do like that the amber/orange is gone from the taillights though. Shame of it is that I honestly believe a TRD version of the Kluger would have sold like hotcakes!! As would a TRD badged Blade Master G (Japan only Corolla hatch with 3.5 V6).
  10. Nice to see they've moved towards projector headlights, but I wouldn't say the new front end is more aggressive. Not sure that I like the new one.
