hey guys, is there an alarm that can do auto locking and keyless start both together?

im very careless n there many times where i keep forgetting to lock my car because the current alarm i have now sometimes u press it and u think that it locked but it didnt coz the responder didnt pick up the signal from the remote.

and also i want keyless start coz i think its pretty cool :D hahahah btw mines an auto :D xD

It's called 'passive arming' and 'passive locking'.

Sometimes called 'last door arming'.

Turn the car off, walk away, alarm will set the alarm and lock the doors.

Mate of mine does alarms with special extras... Located in Hornsby but will come to you if you're not too far away...

man im no where near hornsby .. im like far far far far out :P towards city man .. LOL

like this is what type of alarm i wish to have even tho i probably wont b able to get it ..

i want a alarming system that can :

1 button .. to start the motor

1 button .. to start motor and switch on headlights

1 button just to arm and disarm

i want it to vibrate within a certain amount of kms radius if the alarm goes off .. so say if it goes off n im like 3kms within radius the remote will vibrate

and i want it to automatiically arm the car when im a metre away from the car or soemthing.

just curious if there is a brand that can do this really.. n for how much would i b looking for ..

so yeh if n e 1 knows what brand i can get all these in .. that would be super great !! thanks for those that already posted

What your looking for (in my mind) is a ricer alarm.

Don't really care if it works, just want it to make breakfast.

If you really want all the extras look at DEI (viper/hornet/etc), BUT you will pay BIG dollars for it.

They are an absolute c--- to install.

Every thing is controlled by external relays, and I do mean everything.

To give you an idea, budget around $1,200, thats with most of the things you want installed.

Personaly I would suggets a mongoose, then add one of their gsm modules (sends a message to your cell phone).

Only thing you won't get is the multi channel, start/lights rubbish.

But you will get a solid reliable alarm (if you get mgoose to install it)

Have a look at mgoose web site.

Those that I know with remote start etc soon grow out of it.

Don't forget that remote start is actually illegal too.
