cd player and auto windows not working

hey all,

need some help, got my trd cai installed last week, but after a driving my car a few times, my cd player and auto windows still aren't working... not sure if its meant to take a while for something to reset or....

the cd player just says "SEC" on the display at the moment...

any help is muchly appreciated

You need to enter the security code on your headunit and follow the guide in the FAQ for the windows.

You need to enter the security code on your headunit and follow the guide in the FAQ for the windows.

hold the window down button for 5seconds after window has gone down completely. Then do the same thing for the window-up. voila! auto up/down works again.

cheers for the help guys, will hav to try it when i get home. Is there a default security code or is that different for everyone?

yeah lucky i found my code in my owners manual after i installed my CAI. Luckily the previous owner wrote it down on a piece of paper for me otherwise i don't know what i would do. You can apparently change this code on the head unit if you read your toyota owners manual.

tried it last night, all good, thanks for the help guys! much appreciated

yeh found my code was on like a business type card thing, yeh u can change the code, i can't b bothered, i am just leave it as it is

      1996 Trueno XZ - Is it worth modding?

      Hi everyone, new member to the group and owner driver of a nifty little Toyota Sprinter Trueno XZ, now this was my cousins car, I bought it off him and after various drives, I have come to the decision that this needs alot of love.       1999 Camry Driver's door locking hatch issue

      It's possible that it could be something fouling or dirt build up, dry, or a broken mechanism, so have a look and give the mechanism some lubrication, most likely though, it'll be the actuator.       Query about the correct rotors for 2006 ACV40 Camry.

      Hi, I'm looking at a set of front rotors for an ACV40 2006, 2.4L Camry. I got a good price on some RDA's at Sparesbox. However both RDA8112 and RDA7686 show as for my car and I'm wondering what the difference is and if there were changes to the rotors during the model production. So does anyone know which rotor is the correct one? Many thanks in advance.

      Your solution is akin to suggesting that switching to a different car manufacturer would resolve the issue. However, not everyone shares the same enthusiasm for using an iPhone as you do.
