Hi folks, just signed up because I just bought a 1988 toyota celica :yahoo:

I have a few questions if some kind soul doesnt mind answering for me, the first toyota ive owned as well so know nothing about the car.

Also just moved to Oz from Scotland so know nothing about where to get parts, ect.

It needs some TLC like a new spray job, bits for the interior are missing, the plastic bit round the left door lock is missing, ashtray is missing, bit of plastic above ashtray is missing and the drivers window seal seems to be a bit dodgy as its not forming a proper seal and the drivers window is hard to wind down.

I was thinking of going to the scrappies but I dont think they are named that here? and does anyone know where I can get parts for it? online, scrappies, ect

Im in pert, WA as well, think thats about everything I can think of.

Thanks, Lee.

You most certainly can hit up the scrap/wreckers yard for those sorta parts :) - I doubt you will have to fight for them. Although, finding a yard with a celica in it may be another story.

Hopefully the perth boys will help you out soon enough - where in perth are you located?? From memory, (if you are north of the river, that is) you could try looking in Wanneroo/Wangara or Balcatta...

Good luck, welcome to our little forum!
