Toyota's fuel efficiency

Hi,

With fuel prices heading towards $2pltr everyones starting to become fuel smart. At the moment I want a good fuel efficient car. I come across a '93 Cresta LX90 which is a 2.4 Turbo Diesel with a 70ltr tank. But I cannot find anywhere what the ltr/100km works out to be. I was also looking at a '89 CSX Corolla which is a 1.6ltr and I've read it struggles to reach 9ltr/100km which isnt that great imo.

Which type of toyota should I be looking to hit the 6ltr/100km mark in city use?

Toyota echo or yaris or prius.... I'll be reaching the 700km mark (from a full tank, 45L) very shortly... just done about 420ish now. still 300km to empty..... :)

(I do on average 6-6.8L/100km, city drive)

i got an 84 corolla and and 08 conquest and i get around 550km in the 84 model yet to see how the new model fairs but some people i have heard are getting 6.6 to 6 ltr per 100km

WAT!! 700km a tank? OMG!! i so want yaris now... seriously.... my rolla does 500ish.. MAX!! geez... its killing me.. looks like changing to yaris soon.. lol

EDIT: WAIT! whats ur car? LOL... yaris? echo or prius? they all have diffrent fuel efficient.. lol
