Fellas,

looking to put keyless entry into a 2002 ZZE122 Corolla and have priced the genuine option part from Toyota (about $200 for the 'little black box' and 2 key tag button thingys). Parts guy said that it must be easy enough to do as they sell lots of them over the counter and it comes with instructions.

Has anyone done this and can offer any insight or advice?

Don't they all come with keyless entry anyways?

Ring up Vision they make the kit as far as I know. $200 is not a lot of money any way in the scheme of things.

There is a kit you can buy for remote locking, but it only works if you have central locking in the car from standard.

The Part number for a ZZE Corolla is PZQ7112075 and should cost around about $130 unfitted. Pretty easy to install I have been told.
