Hi Guys,

Got a 3-4 month old kitten (male) that we can't keep. Got given to us a month ago and was originally giving it to mum & dad but they couldnt look after it as much as they wanted it. I cant have 2 males in the house so he's got too go. He's too old to go to Kitten adoption at the Vet's so its free to a good home or the pound....cant bring myself to take it to the pound.

He hasn't been desexed or microchipped, but he is free. Extremely playful, but then can just shut his eyes and fall asleep peacefully. Loves eating because he sticks head right into the food & always comes out with it all over his face. Loves eating corn on the cob (?). Loves sleeping on shoulders when were on the lounge. Gets along fine with our cat so he should be fine with others.

I can meet whoever wants him, preferrably someone around Sydney area or somewhere thats an easy drive from Lithgow.

would he get along with 2 sausage dogs?? sooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!

definately dont send him to the pound let the thread stay here for a week and advertise him on petlink its for free hopefully he goes to a good home :D

Well parents said they would take him for a couple of days to see how he goes...when I dropped in this arvo they had 4 different types of food, bought him a bunch of toys & he was asleep on Mum's lap even though shes not keen on pets......so I guess he is staying??

Ill keep this up in case.

      Thanks so much for your advice. We checked the transmission dipstick (finally!) and it was empty! Yes old dad did a boneheaded move. My son then changed the oil and filled the transmission fluid on his cherry 98 Toyota Seca and the car sings! Thankfully our 100m test drive on no transmission fluid does not seem to have done any major harm. Cheers

      Just to confirm, are we talking about engine oil or gearbox/transmission oil? The auto in these also has a dipstick in the engine bay, just want to make sure you're checking the right thing (especially since you're talking about it not shifting properly, which shouldn't be an issue with engine oil level if the car runs fine otherwise)

      2011 Hilux fuel injector seals

      Hi all, I have a question regarding the 2011 Toyota Hilux 3.0l turbo diesel model. A friend of mine who is a mechanic mentioned that they may be known for issues with the fuel injector seals leaking but he couldnt remember whether it was common in the 2009 or the 2011 models. It was apparently an issue that was solved by redesigning the engine, solved by 2012 and possibly 2011 model? Does anybody know anything more about this or had there own experiences with the 2011 engine? Any insight is appreciated as I'm considering buying one, thanks!

      Need more information, what engine are we referring too? Where is the bypass actually at? What hose actually blew off ? The more info you provide actually helps as it helps draw a picture for those who can't actually be there, Cheers Conrod A picture or two would be very beneficial

      Son's First Car--98 Corolla Seca--Overfilled Oil--Cactus??

      Hi folks, Concerned dad of first-time car-owner son. He just bought a 1998 Toyota Seca 1.6L Automatic in Melbourne. Perfect condition. Saw that the oil was so low when warm it did not even touch the dipstick. Filled it to within specs on the stick (took about 1L). Drove 15 mins to home--car performed well. Checked in the morning. Still low. Added another 0.7L (now about 1.7L added total). Test drove for 3 mins. Noticed gear shifting suddenly irregular and slow. Rechecked oil level. It was now 5cm over the limit on the dipstick!! Drained off 1.5L through the pan and no more oil would come out of the pan. Mystified that the oil was still 5cm over the dipstick limit. Took a syringe. Drained off another 0.25L through the dipstick tube, which was about everything that we added in total. Oil level now 1cm over the dipstick limit. Engine still starts and idles fine, but now the car will not go into gear at all. My son is devastated. Please help.

      2019 Landcruiser 200 Map update Bricked System

      Hi guys, our local toyota dealership for the last 12 months have tried at least 4 times to update the navigation maps on our car. I have repeated warned them that they need to be careful which SD Card update they try to use, however, they have ignored my warnings and a month ago, they appear to have completely "bricked" the system. The maps screen is now completely blank and it says to contact toyota dealership for help. The dealership have no idea what to do now and have informed me that a warranty claim has been submitted to completely replace the map display unit. My wife is just a little ****ty right now as she has been without a functioning maps display for about 4 months in total and now this. So, given the unit is going to be replaced at some point, i have decided "what the heck, I may as well try to find an SD Card with a firmware update that can "downgrade" the ******up the dealership have caused". Does anyone know if its possible to "unbrick" this system with an older firmware update (say the original 2019 one)? Any ideas/help would be appreciated. kind regards Adam

      2005 Toyota Corolla miss fire on acceleration cant scan obd2

      If you haven't sorted the problem out yet, I would recommend looking into whether the intake manifold seals are leaking. These were very common, but it won't explain the ignition coil issue.
